Chapter Thirty-One

CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE

Two Weeks Later:

“Are you sure you packed everything you needed?” Jessica asked me for about the fortieth time that day.

“Yes I am sure Jess. If not I can either buy it or have you ship it to me. Which I think buying it would be faster,” I noted thoughtfully.

We were all at the airport right now. By all I meant, Alex, Nate, Jessica, Zayn, Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall, Sam, Meli, and I. Melissa finally came by to spend some quality time with Niall before we all had to leave to Australia, which is where we were going now. I still could hardly believe it. We all had spend countless hours these past two weeks rehearsing for these upcoming shows for the tour. I hope everything we did pays off so that we put on an excellent show.

“What am I going to do without you guys while you’re in Australia?” Jessica cried out.

“Go back to university and spend some time with Sam and Meli while you’re at it,” I answered simply.

“I can’t believe my little Rose is finally riding on an airplane. Remember when I had to go to New York that one time in high school and you made me take pictures of everything, including the airport?” Jessica reminisced.

“Of course I do! Now I can finally experience what it’s like to ride a place,” I said cheerfully.

“Flight 671 to Australia will be boarding soon,” the intercom announced.

“That’s us. It’s time to say our official goodbyes to Melissa, Sam, Jessica, and little Zenon,” Liam told everyone. Yes, we brought Zenon on the airport because I wanted her to be with us until we left.

Harry and Sam started hugging and started promising each other to call every night. Niall gave Melissa a kiss on the cheek, they aren't official yet, and told her he would call her when we all landed. Zayn was giving Jessica a passionate kiss goodbye and broke apart so I could give her a hug goodbye.

“I’m really going to miss you Jess. Skype every night before a show ok?” I asked.

“Yes! I hopefully won’t be asleep by then because of the time difference,” Jessica noted.

“Oh right! I totally forgot about that!” I sighed into her shoulder.

“Don’t worry best friend. We will find a way. Bring me a souvenir won’t you?” Jessica laughed.

“Will do best friend, will do,” I promised and let go of her.

“Goodbye Zenon!” Alex, Nate, and Liam all said as they playfully patted Zenon’s head through Jessica’s purse. Yes, we had to hid her again just in case.

“Goodbye my little baby girl. I’m going to miss you so much,” I said as I quickly picked Zenon up and gave her a hug.

“I’ll take good care of her Rose. No worries,” Jessica promised.

“You better. She looks like she’s getting fatter. I hope that’s not a bad sign. Watch out for that for me ok?” I asked her.

“Will do,” Jessica said.

“Goodbye Zenon! We are sure going to miss you right Harold?” Louis said as I passed him Zenon. He really seemed to like her and that just made him so much more attractive than he already was to me.

“I definitely will miss Zenon. She’s just too adorable,” Harry said as he played with Zenon in Louis’s arms.

“Bye Melissa. I’m glad I got to see you again before we all left,” I said as I gave the tall girl a hug.
