Luke: “Where’s Luke?” Ashton asks, sitting next to you on the tour bus couch. “On a date,” you state, rolling your eyes. “Oh, how do you feel about that?” Ashton asks, glancing at you curiously. “He can do whatever he wants,” You reply bitterly. “Okay,” Ashton says with a laugh. “It’s not like he needs my approval,” you add, convincing yourself more than Ashton. “Got it,” Ashton says, trying to be serious. “If he wants to date a slut he can,” you decide, forgetting that Ashton is there, “I mean why shouldn’t he? And why should I waste my time on someone who will never like me?” “Is that a confession?” Ashton asks immediately. Your eyes widen as you realize what you said. “No, it was hypothetical,” you lie. “I knew you liked him!” Ashton yells triumphantly, leaping off the couch and dancing around. You shush him, pulling him back onto the couch. “Don’t tell anyone,” you plead, “I don’t want to make things awkward.” “Okay,” Ashton agrees, “But I really think if Luke wasn’t so shy you would’ve been dating by now.” “Do you think he might like me?” You ask hopefully. “I’ll find out,” Ashton offers, “Secret agent Ashton!” You laugh and thank him as he begins to plan how he would find out if Luke liked you back.

Ashton: “I’ll go microwave the popcorn,” You offer, moving to get off the couch. “Don’t leave me,” your best friend, Ashton, whines, pulling you back. “Do you want popcorn or not?” You ask, although you let him cuddle closer to you. “I guess,” he sighs, letting you go. You get up to see Calum watching you from the other side of the couch and you blush, hurrying to the kitchen. You jump when you hear a voice behind you, “So when are you gonna tell him you like him?” “Calum!” You shout, “You scared me.” “Sorry,” Calum laughs, “But I’m serious. When?” “I don’t like him,” you lie, looking away to hide your reddening cheeks. “It’s so obvious,” Calum sighs, rolling his eyes. “Is it really?” You whisper nervously. “But it’s obvious he likes you back,” Calum adds. You blush even redder at his words. “You think?” You ask hopefully. Calum nods and you smile widely. “But he won’t make a move!” Calum tells you, “You’ve gotta do it!” “What do I do?” You sigh. Calum thinks for a second before replying, “Just kiss him.” Your eyes widen and you shake your head. “It’s a good idea,” Calum insists, “We’ll leave you two alone during the movie and when the time is right, kiss him!” You open your mouth to argue but Calum cuts you off. “Great! It’s a plan,” with that he disappears from the room, leaving you to think over your plan as you wait for the popcorn.

Calum: You sat on the couch, laying across Calum’s lap as he absentmindedly plays with your hair. You feel him poke at your rib cage and you squirm. Suddenly his hands grab your sides, tickling you mercilessly. “Stop!” You scream, falling to the floor in an attempt to escape. Calum rolls off the couch and lands over you, tickling you as you kick underneath him. “You guys are disgustingly cute,” Michael says, entering the room and making you and Calum freeze. “I mean really just get married already,” he adds. Calum rolls off of you and you sit up, looking to Michael who winks at you. “We aren’t dating,” Calum mutters, blushing. “You aren’t? Why not?” Michael asks in mock confusion. You open your mouth to reply, but no explanation comes to you. Instead you glance at Calum to see him staring fixedly at the carpet. “Exactly,” Michael affirms, “You just won’t admit you like each other. He shrugs nonchalantly before exiting the room.

Michael: You lay with your head in Michael’s lap, drifting off to sleep when you hear your name in the boys’ hushed conversation. “When are you gonna ask Y/n out?” Calum asks quietly. “Who says I’m gonna ask her out?” Michael replies. “It’s obvious you like her,” Ashton points out. “No I don’t!” Michael argues. “Don’t lie to us,” Ashton says seriously. “Well if I did, it wouldn’t matter,” Michael sighs, “She doesn’t like me.” “Yes she does,” Luke corrects. “How do you know?” Michael asks, trying to keep the hope he felt out of his voice. “I heard her on the phone with her friend back home,” Luke confesses, “And she said she doesn’t think you like her back.” “Did she really?” The excitement in Michael’s voice was now evident. “I wouldn’t make that up,” Luke insists. “Hmm,” Michael says thoughtfully, “I guess I could ask her out.” “Yes!” The others cheer together. “Sh!” Michael says instantly, “She’s asleep.”
