(Y/N) POV

Those words. I got very confused and shocked about them. Why would Brom lie about my reasons to be here and Vladmir's existence? "What do you mean he lied about me?", I asked Eragon. He was a little paler in the face and was probably as shocked as I was. "He said nothing about you training and being the same as me. He haven't even mentioned Vladmir. Why would he lie about it? "I think that we should ask him." I looked at Eragon and he saw that what he said seemed bad. "And getting him to know that we eavesdropped on them? Do you know how much trouble we'll be in then!" "But don't you want to know why he lied?" Yes I do. "No, not at all." Eragon gave me a small smile at my words. "I know that you're lying (Y/N)." "Oh and how would you be able to do that may I ask?" "We have been traveling together for a ling time and you think I wouldn't notice it? You may almost never lie but when you do it's obvious."
I saw Eragon sink back against the wall and into the conversation between Brom and Jeod. A thought that shouldnt even have been created came into my mind. Am I not fulfilling the craves of being a rided? Is that why Brom didn't mention that? And what about Vladmir? After a while when I had sat and thought those devastating thoughts over and over again, the door flew open and they came outside. "Was everything alright with the horses?" Brom asked. "Absolutely", Eragon answered. The made the horses loose while I still sat on Cadoc and Eragon holding onto his reins. When we got back to the city itself Brom started to speak. "So, Jeod, you got married in the end." I saw Eragon's shoulders go up and down a little more, probably because he was laughing a little. "With a magnificent lady as well. Congratulations." I heard Jeod snort at the comment. "Right now it's nothing to congratulate. Helen isn't really happy." "Why not? What does she desire?" Brom asked. "The usual", Jeod said with a shrug of his shoulders. "A nice house, happy children, food on the table and nice company. The problem is that she comes from an affluent family; her father has invested a lot of money in my business. If I suffer even more losses then I won't have enough money to make her live as she is used to." Jeod gave out a sigh after he spoke. "I'm sorry, my problems isn't yours. Your host should never worry you with their problems. As long as you're guests in my house, I won't let you be bothered by anything else than full stomachs." "Thank you", Brom said. "We appreciate the hospitality. We have been travelling for a long time and we shouldn't be spoiled with comfort. Do you happen to know where we can find a cheap shop anywhere? Our clothes are worn out after all of our riding." I saw Jeod emediatley shine up at his words. "Of course. That is my job", he said. He started to talk about prizes and shops with a really big enthusiasm. Me and Eragon smiled towards each other at how someone could like what they did so much. When we got closer to Jeod's house he started to speak. "Would it be alright if we go and eat somewhere else? It could get a little awkward if you come in right now." "We'll do whatever that suits you", Brom said. Jeod's shoulder sank down a little and he looked revealed. "Thank you. We'll leave your horses in the stable."
We followed Jeod to an another inn. This one was bigger and had more life to it than the one we were in before. As soon as the food came I saw Eragon eating like there was no other food in the world. "Eragon, if you eat all of that food so fast you're going to get stomach ache." He just looked up at me and then started to eat like I hadn't said anything. I laughed at him and then kept on eating myself. We sat there after we were full. Brom and Jeod started talking  while me and Eragon just sat there. I jumped a little when I felt something touch my mind.
'(Y/N)?'

'Eragon? What do you want?'

'I was thinking about going out to ride with Saphira for a while. I think you should ask Brom why he lied while I'm out.'

'And what if we get in trouble?!'

'Then blame it on me. I was the one who eavesdropped and you could just say that you didn't know until I talked to you.'
