(Y/N) POV

I was running. I didn't know why, but I couldn't stop. I felt that something was after me and if I stopped, it would kill me. I felt it come closer and closer but never so close so that it attacked. It was like a shadow. Always there... always watching. I felt the sweat roll down from my forehead and my neck. I saw my breath as a little cloud of steam in the air. The only light that was in these dark woods was the small bit of moonlight that managed to push through the leaves. IT felt like the forest was dying. Like the darkness behind me swallowed it all, but couldn't get enough. Wherever I looked, there was something watching. It seemed as a million glowing eyes if the forest was watching me, waiting for me to fail. The shadow behind me had no shape, I could barely see it at all. I felt it closing in on me, but then backing off. It was just toying with me, like an animal with it's food. I was suddenly out of the forest. It ended like a line. Like here was the end of the world. I went up on the cliff that was coming out of the earth a little above me. I could see the whole kingdom. I was miles and miles into the sky. The only thing above me was the sky and the only thing below me was darkness. It almost looked like a dark mist had swept over the land and killed everything. Where the grass was supposed to be, there was just spotts of  a pale grey . Where the water was supposed to flow, there was just black lines, like the water itself had turned into poison and then killed the ground. I felt my heart pounding against my ribs. Was this the end? No. An end without Vladmir was not acceptable. I could hear the darkness come up slowly behind me, it's movements sounded like like a cold breeze full if ice and a hiss. I turned towards it and took a step further out on the cliff. And I knew that if I stepped over the edge, I would step over the edge of the world. IT just continued to crawl closer and closer to me on the cliff. I took a small step back and felt the edge at the end of my heel. I heard some small rocks make it's way out of the cliff, but never heard them hit the ground.
And even in the light of the moon, the darkness didn't intend to let any of it in. "Leave me alone." I said. But the voice just sounded like an echo, like I wasn't the one who said it and something made it come out loud from my mind. It only came closer and closer. The front of it lifted itself from the ground, like a snake that was ready to attack. I didn't have any time to react as it hit me and pushed me over the edge. I didn't have it in me to scream. I just fell. Nothing was alive. The trees were all burned, the grass was gone or grey, and the ways where the water had ran in was black. I didn't even hear the wind around me as I fell. It was dead too. The darkness had swallowed it all, and it had left nothing behind. I turned around to face the ground. The ground came closer and closer. The ground was barely five meters away right now. And I knew that I wasn't going to wake up from a nightmare if I hit the ground. I would die. Just as I waited for the pain I heard something roar, and I jolted up from where I was laying to see that I was alive.
