(Y/N) POV
Me and Vladmir had talked. We knew that we would probably continue to the Varden, and if we would me and Vladmir would leave.
Gil'ead. As we expected, that was going to be our next stop. "If you find Dormnad and keep on going to the Varden, I will leave you. To meet the Varden would be as dangerous to me as walking into Urû'baen unarmed, whit a battle horn that was signalling my arrival." Murtagh said. "We don't need to leave each other in a long time", Eragon answered. "That is true. It is very far to Gil'ead." I said. "Well we should leave before it's too late." "Are you strong enough to travel Eragon?" Murtagh asked while burrowing his eyebrows. "I have to do something before I go crazy", he said. "It's not like training and just sit around are the best options right now, so I choose riding."
We packed all of our stuff and put out the fire. Eragon gave Cadoc's and Snowfire's reins to Murtagh. "Go ahead, we'll catch up in a minute." He nodded for me to follow him and then we climbed up the giant rock. When we got to the top Saphira and Vladmir was already there. We just stood in front of the grave, probably seeing it for the last time a very long time, if not the absolute last. Eragon turned around to leave, but Saphira turned her head to touch the grave with her nose. The sandstone around her nose started to glow, and turned into drops to be seen through as it became a little silver. It twisted and turned around the grave. Through all of the drops there was reflections of rainbows or kept on changing colours. Saphira stepped back and looked at what she had done. ME and Eragon stepped forward. The sandstone that was once covering Brom was now a complete mass of gemstone and Brom was now visible. "What did you do?" Eragon asked. "It's beautiful Saphira!" I said.
'I gave him the only thing I could give him. Now time won't change him. He will rest in peace forever.'
"Thank you", Eragon whispered. We made our way down from the cliff and our journey continued once again.
