Chapter 41 (pt1)

(Y/N) POV

   As went inside the dragons nest, there was a dwarf waiting. "Argetlam", he mumbled towards Eragon and bowed. "Good. Awake. Knurla Orik is waiting for you", he said with an accent. He once again bowed and then walked away. Saphira jumped out from the cave and landed beside us. As I looked towards her I could see that she had Zar'roc in her claws. Eragon and Saphira probably started a conversation between one another and I wished that I had Vladmir by my side. Saphira let out a cloud of smoke came out of her nostrlis. Eragon then took the sword and put it on his waist. "What did she say?" Eragon glanced towards me and gave a small smile. "She held a small speech about why I should have the sword by my side." "Well, was it good?" Saphira let out a loud breath and told us to climb up on her back. She took off and flew out of Tronjheim.
   As soon as we landed in Farthen Dûr, Orik came rushing to us. "My king Hrothgar wants to see the two of you," he said while nodding at Eragon and Saphira, "climb of now. We have to hurry." We followed the dwarf inside the mountain. "Where will we meet Hrothgar?" Eragon asked. "In the throne room below the city", Orik said over his shoulder. "You will be meeting him alone, to prove otho - "trust". You will not need to speak to him in a certain way, but have respect. Hrothgar is close to rage, but he is wise and sees clearly in a humans mind, so think before you talk."
   We continued to walk down a few stairs before we reached two doors made out of granite. Across the doors there was a seven-pointed crown. There was seven dwarves guarding the gate on both sides. When we got closer they hit their weapons against the floor, and the door opened inwards. I could barely see someone inside the throne room since we were so far away. Orik bowed. "The king awaits." Eragon looked back towards me, but I gave him a reassuring nod and then he walked inside with Saphira.
