(Y/N) POVAnd once again, I almost fell off of the horse. It isn't the greatest thing to ride in a city full of people, and ceartanley not when you need to get out if the city as soon as possible. When we rode closer to the gates, Eragon stopped Cadoc. The gates were halfway down and there were soldiers in front of it. "Brom if we go there, they will chop us to bits!" I said. "We have to try", Brom answered. "I will take care of the men but the two of you need to keep those gates open for us." Eragon only nodded and made Cadoc move again. We rode quickly towards the soldiers with the spears. They were pointed towards the horses. We got closer and closer and when we were just by them, Brom lifted his hand and spoke. All of the soldiers fell and we rode past them. The gates got lower and lower for every second that went. Me and Eragon put up our hands in the air and used magic on the gates as we said: "Du grind huildr!" The gates stopped and everyone watched with a surprised look on their faces. As soon as we got outside of the gates, we let them go. It was tiring for both me and Eragon and we almost fell of. The alarms went of inside of the walls. We rode further and got to where Vladmir and Saphira was hiding. "The both of you go, ride on your dragons", Brom said. "And this time stay in the air, no matter what happens to me. I will go south. Fly close by; I don't care if anyone sees Saphira." We quickly jumped off Cadoc and on to our dragons. We went up into the air but Vladmir flew above the others.
'Brom said that we should stay close so why are you this high up Vladmir?''He only said that he didn't care if they saw Saphira, he said nothing about me.'
'But what if something happens to them and you were a stubborn lizard that stayed up in the air and didn't go to help them?!'
'If they need our help that bad they will tell us but I don't want you nor me to be known by the world. And if staying in the air means that you are safe, I would do it for an eternity.'
'So you'd rather see them die than helping them?!' At that, I got no answer from him.
As we rode away from everything, the wind started to blow. At first it was just a small breeze but soon it was too strong to fly in. We landed on the ground a few seconds after Eragon and Saphira did. Brom stopped the horses and started to speak. "What's wrong?" "The wind is too strong for us to fly in", was my answer. "It's not that strong", Brom objected. "It is up there", Eragon said while pointing to the sky. Brom cursed and gave us Cadoc's reins. Vladmir and Saphira followed us on foot, but it was difficult for them to keep up with us on the ground. The wind started to blow even more and that was the only sound that was heard. We soon needed to stop due to the dark. We left the rode and made camp between two rocks. We didn't make a fire so we are our food cold while Saphira and Vladmir protected us from the wind. When we were done eating, Eragon started to speak. "How did the ra'zacs find us?" Brom looked at us and then talked. "One of the servants at the palace warned me about some spies among them. Some way Tábor must have heard about me and my question... and through him the ra'zacs." "We can't return to Dras-Leona, can we?" Brom started to shake his head at Eragon's question. "Not in many years." Eragon put his head into his hands and let out a heavy sigh. "Shouldn't we then lure out the ra'zacs? If we make sure that Saphira gets spotted, they would come running wherever she is." "And when they do, they'll have fifty soldiers as company", Brom said. "This is not the right moment to discuss it. Right now we need to focus on surviving. The danger is the most tonight since the ra'zacs will hunt us in the dark, when they are the strongest. We have to share the guarding until dawn." "Of course", Eragon said and stood up. He looked of into the distance and I went over to him. I tried to look for what he was seeing but the only thing out there was complete darkness. "What do you see?" I said and turned to him. He looked out into the distance and then turned around. I don't know. I thought that I saw something. It must've been a bird." Suddenly something hit Eragon. I heard Saphira let out a roar and then I felt a pain in the back of my head and the world turned into darkness.^Hello guys!!
