sebastian spent most of the day at hers helping with jacob rachel knee as it was the weekend his father charles would be home.

charles smythe was an ass he refused to accept that sebastian was a father frequently told people about town rachel was a gold digger he flatly refused sebastian's desire for a paternity test to proive to him he was jacob's father.

sebastian had never questioned been his father after she told him she was pregnant he had just accepted her word that he was. now jacob was here it was obvious hehas his eyes the same green eyes as him it was clear he looked like him.

now it was monday and rachel was sat in her car outside mckinley trying to compose herself after getting upset leaving jacob. maggie sebastian's mom was looking after him this week his dad was now out of town and didnt know. maggie was lovely she like sebastian had accepted jacob was sebastian's son. she had the very same green eyes as sebastian and jacob.

as rachel sat there she heard a tapping sound and saw klaine smiling at her she gout out of the car to be engulfed in a klaine cuddle.

" i need alot of these today" rachel said

" anytime" blaine said taking hold of her hand

" come on then" kurt said taking her other hand having gotton her back with her books out of her car for her.

this was it rachel was terrified after all some of the school bullies had told ber theonly reason they hadnt hurt her was because she ws pregnant now she wasnt.

as the three of them walked into the school building rachel felt everyone was staying at her and she looked at the floor.

" their not looking at you there loooking at me or rather my new sweater" kurt said rachel  managed a small smile as she reached her locker.

as he opened her locker something fell out and hit her on her head she looked at the floor blaine was picking it up it was a doll a new born doll with a  paper pelican beak taped where the nose should be. it didnt take a rcket scientist to figure out people were making fun of her nose.

" ignore them rach" kurt said

" i am" rachel said as she got her books

the morning was alright she didnt have anymore trouble she just missed jacob she had text maggie three times to see if he was alright. maggie had replied each time with a photo of jacob and a caption of im ok mommy.

now wss the main test lunchtime rachel had brought a packed lunch not wanting to eat in the lunch hall.

she had made her way to the choir room having told kurt and blaine she wanted some ti e to herself. which was true she was feeling rather overwhelmed been back at school.

as she there eating her sandwich the choir door opened and in walked quinn fabrey rachel braced hrrself.

" hey" quinn said

" hey" rachel said surprised that quinn was smiling at her

" i know after what finn and i did im probably the last lerson you want to talk to but i came to say im sorry for what happened. you must think i did it out of spite but thruth is i love finn i never meant for you to get hurt. i also came to see how you are i know i gave beth upbut i kniw what its like coming back the first day back " quinn said

" your one of if not the most popular girl here quinn your experience will have been completely different to mine" rachel said

" i know but i understand more than anyone else here will i just thought you know if you wanted to talk im here. plus as head cheerio i do have some power over the rest of the cheerios i told them to leave you alone" quinn said

" lets see if santana listens" rachel said

" you should bring jacob in to the choir room let everyone meet him" quinn said

" and have the son of sebastian smythe in the same room as santana lopez " rachel said

" speaking of sebastian are you guys together " quinn asked

" no" rachel said

" is he been ok with you" quinn asked

" yeah he is he is a great dad" rachel had to admit.

" finn told me it was because you were so upset with us you got so drunk and thstwas how it happened" quinn said rachel saw tears in quinn's eyes.

" yeah but it doesnt really matter now does it it happpened thats all that matters" rachel said

" i really am sorry  can we be friends" quinn said

" i wouls like that im tired of all the fighting and resentment p,us having jacobi can honestly say i am well and truly over finn" rachel said then rachel's phone started ringing maggie was face timing her rachel saw jacob's little face looking at her.

" hey baby mommy love you" rachel said

" you want to see him" rachel asked quinn who nodded she turned her phone.

" oh wow he is gorgeous look at him" quinn said rachel then turned the phone back to look at him.

" not long now mommy going to give you a big cuddle when im home " rachel said then maggie came on the screen.

" he has been as good as gold he must get that from you seb was always a handful" maggie said chuckled

" i will be at yours as soon as the traffic lets me" rachel said

" dont worry rachel he is fine with me" maggie said the call ended

" he is so cute" quinn said

" thank you" rachel said

" think about bringing him in i think it will help the glee club understand " quinn said

" i might do i will think about it" rachel said

rachel was the first one out of school that day desperate to see her little boy she knew he was safe with maggie but it didnt calm her completely.

as rachel pulled up onto the smythes driveway sebastian had just arrived home too and had reached the front door but waited for her to reach him.

after he let them both inside he went through to the living room and returned a moment later holding jacob who he handed straight to her. rachel cuddled her baby son feeling calmer now he was back in her arms maggie walked though a moment later.

" glad your both here charles rang this morning and jacob must have thought the house was far to quiet and started screaming his head off charles heard him" maggie said

" oh no" rachel said

" what did he say" sebastian asked

" well i put the phone down i dont care if he is my husband i wont be spoken to like that anyway he rang back and said i shouldn't be having him becausehe isnt yours. so he then said we should end this as soon as possible so he has agreed to a paternity test" maggie said

" finally" sebastian said

" our doctor can do it on Thursday after school if thats alright by you rachel" maggie said

" yeah thats fine" rachel said sebastian looked at her for a moment

" dont new directions practice on a Thursday " sebastian asked

" yeah but this is far more important" rachel said

" would you like to join us for dinner" maggie asked

" thank you but my dads are making me my fravorite meal as a first day back celebration " rachel said

" ofcourse another time then " maggie said rachel nodded

" i best be getting home" rachel said

" can i" sebastian said pointing to jacob who she handed to him so he could say goodbye to him.
