" what" both rachel and sebastian exclaimed

" your father had an affair  with her" maggie  said

" why didnt you tell us earlier " sebastian asked

" i never knew her name and its been so long i didnt recognise her at first it was only when she said your fathers name. it clicked why she seemed so familìar i knew i knew her from somewhere then it hit me and i thought this is going to be interesting" maggie said

" but when did he" sebastian asked

" you were only a baby it was when your father workee in new york alot it was our wedding anniversary i was supposed to join him for the weekend. he told me he would be working but i decided to go anyway you see it was then that things started to go bad between us. i thought spending sometime together would help us so like i said i went. as i arrived at the hotel where he always stayed when he was in new york i checked myself in at reception to get a key card only imagine my surprise to be hold mrs smythe was already with her husband." maggie said

" she posed as you" rachel exclaimed

" oh it gets even better naturally i figured what was going on so i showed my identification to the hotel manager proving i was his real wife and demaned they give me a key which they refused so iphoned my father he rang then lets just say they gave me a key. so i made my way to his room only as i was rounding the hallway which led to it the door opened and out they came. now looking back i find it quite funny its the only time i have ever seen your dad look scared. she was clinging to him like a needy child hewas clearly already over her. she said and i remember  her exact words. admit it im gokd for you jut think if you got me a condo near by i could take care of you while your in town. charles face was a picture he then said i have a wife to take care of me. so she said but she isnt here is she i was about to say actually i am. then she kissed him he liked it i just stood there then she was gone charles went back into his room and i went and knocked. he thought i was her as he opened the door the look on his face was priceless" maggie said

" why did you stay with him" sebastian asked

" pride my father rachel was an amazing man i was very close to him he had warned me not to marry charles. remember when i told you charles family were new money well my family was old money. my father saw charles as been beneath me. sebastian you were only eight months old i was to proud to admit i was wrong i was scared to be a single mothee. your dad did get punished though as i told my father what he had done you see rachek my father wanting to make sure i had a good life helped charles out at the start of hus career. so after i had confronted him my father demanded to see us both we both flew back to ohio where my parents were living at the time. my father told him that he had bought us a house this very house infact and that charles was to coduct his business from ohio from now on.  my dad punched him he had a black eue for weeks i thoughtbhe looked better for it personally but anyway back to the story. mydad told charles he was going to watch him from now on and if he ever did it again it would be the last thing he would ever do." maggie said

" wow i just cant believe her of all people" rachel said

" yeah she wrote to me once we were living in ohio" maggie said

" what" sebastian asked

" i recieved a letter hand delivered a few years later after my father died stating that she wanted my husband now had she put a return address i would have told her she could hve him but she didnt so i couldnt " maggie said

" why didnt you tell me its not like i can hink anyless of him now is it" sebastian said hugging his mom

" i was more worried what you would think of me" maggie said

" i love you i know  everything you have done has been for me" sebastian said

" did you ever find out how long it had been going on" rachel asked

" i hink it was only that weekend charles wasnt into her it was clear when i saw them she was just there and willing" maggie said

" im so sorry" rachel said

" its not your fault and thruth is i do t really see it has her fault not now i know she is your biological mom. seb was ababy which mean you werent much more thanni baby at the time. she was a failing actress in new york be was a wealthy looking at the time high powered lawyer i can see the appeal many women do" maggie said

" but still" rachel said

" when you think about it how they have both treated you rach they might actually be soulmates" maggie chuckled.
