plans for summer

after the bbq rachel and sebastian headed home with jacob has he was now getting grumpy as his bedtime approached.

as they walked into his mom's house they saw her sat back on ths couch looking at holiday brochures hough she rested the brochure on her lap when she saw them.

" hello there did you have a good time" maggie asked

" yeah we did what you been upto" sebastian said

" im goin to get jacob ready for bed" rachel said as jacob had started crying.

" ok babe night night jacob" sebastian said kissing them both.

" i have been thinking" maggie said once rachel was upstairs.

" ok" sebastian said

" well its just we have all been through a lot and seeing how those few days away helped rach i thought we could go away on holiday during the summer" maggie said

" ok where were you thinking" sebastian asked l

" france or Italy " maggie said

" sounds good to me" sebastian said

" do you have any plans for the summer" maggie asked

" well kurt has asked us to go camping but other than that we havent really discussed it" sebastian said

" you ok your smiling " maggie asked

" ient that a good thing" sebastian asked

" yes but you havent stopped since you got home" maggie said

" you know how i told you finn ruined last night" sebastian said

" oh no seb wbat have you done " maggie asked

" mom i havent done anything anyway he asked to talk to rach today and she agreed and i told you how she used to follow finn around like a lost puppy and i was worried she might still have feelings for him. well she told him no today she told him i make her happier than he ever did" sebastian said grinning.

" thats wonderful but why are you so shocked its obvious she loves you" maggie said

" i know she does its just they were known as finchel they were the power couple of the new directions and i guess part of me thought we were together because we were thrown together by having jacob i loved her before he was conceived you know that but i guess i thought she had settled  for me. " sebastian said

" fate is a funny thing sebastian maybe this was now you two were supposed to end up together " maggie said

" yeah' sebastian said.

rachel

rachel was stood by jacob's crib singing you are my sunshine to him as he drifted off to sleep she watched as he closed his green eyes.

she stood mesmerised looking at him sleeping soundly whennshe heard the bedroom door open and close then she felt arms gently wrap around her waist as sebastian rested his chin on her shoulder while they both watched javon for a moment.

" he is sound asleep " sebastian said

" he is i think the excitement of the bbq tired him out" rachel said

" maybe it did anyway now he is asleep how about you turn your attention to the other man in your life" sebastian said kissing her shoulder.

" oh really tell me is this man in need of something " rachel asked

" oh yes repeatedly " sebastian said making her giggle.

the next morning

rachel woke up to an empty bed she checked jacob he was just waking up she got up and brought him to the bed he was gurgling away playing with her hair as sebastian walked in carrying a tray.

" morning babe" he said seeing her awake.

" morning" rachel said as he placed the tray on the nightstand before climbing back into bed.

" last night was epic" sebastian said

" i think we broke our record" rachel said

" im surprised we didnt break the bed" sebastian said reaching over and picking up a mug from the tray and handing it to her.

" thank you" she said before taking a sip.

" good morning my son" sebastian said taking jacob from her and giving him a cuddle.

" what time is the game today" rachel asked it was the final lacrosse game of the school year this afternoon.

"one oclock" sebastian said

" are you excited " rachel asked

" yeah but its sad as david and wes are graduating so its their last game" sebastian said

" i know how you feel and i know your not his biggest fan but im going to miss kurt so much when he goes to new york." rachel started

" ofcourse we will be going to new york in a few months remember to see and meet barbra " sebastian said

" remember how could i forget that" rachel said

" anyway you eat your bagel as thr girlfriend of the most likey winning team your going to need your strength given the way i plan on celebrating " sebastian said pointing to the tray.
