its friday rachel has just finished school its been an exhausting week she just wants to get jacob from maggie and go home and relax well as much as she can looking after a seven week old baby.
as rachel reaches her car kurt and blaine are stood by it waiting for her.
" why dont you come to mine bring jacob " kurt asked
" thank you but im tired i just want my own bed" rachel said which was true plus the fact that kurt lived with his dad burt and stepmom carol who happened to be the mother of her ex boyfriend finn who was ingoring her since she had jacob.
" ok maybe tomorrow night" kurt asked giving her a hopeful look
" i will see" rachel said getting into her car as her phone rang it was sebastian
rach: hello
seb: hey i am home do you want me to bring jacob to yours save you coming over here
rach: please if thats ok
seb: yeah its fine i will set off in five minutes
rach: ok thank you
the call ended rachel headed home she knew jacob would be here for atleast twenty minutes given the distance between their houses so she had a quick shower.
as she stepped out of the shower wrapped in a large towel she walked into her room to find sebastian tood holding jacob.
" i thought you wouldnt be here yet" rachel said conscious of been in just a towel
" traffic wasnt to bad today" sebastian said
" oh" rachel said as jacob started crying
" thats his hunger cry isnt it " sebastian said
" yeah it is" rachel said
" have you expressed any milk" sebastian asked
" no" rachel said
" right then i guess you best feed him" sebastian said rachel sat down on her bed hoping her towel wouldnt fall down as sebastian placed jacob in her arms.
as she opened the towel slightly inorder to breastfeed her other breast was on show for a second before she covered herself feeling embarrassed.
" relax its not like i havent seen them before" sebastian said rachel just looked at jacob and didnt say anything
" i more than saw them" sebastian muttered
" stop " rachel said feeling uncomfortable
" fine" sebastian sighed
" how was your dad when you got home" rachel asked not wanting an awkward silence to fall between them
" he was in his office so i didnt see him i heard him though" sebastian said
" well atleast only a few more days then he will have proof" rachel said
" yeah" sebastian said and there it was the awkward silence
" what you doing this weekend" sebastian asked
" i want an early night tonight tomorrow i might go to kurts " rachel said
" wont that be awkward finn might be there" sebastian said
" thats why i said might if he is im not going " rachel said
" he giving you grief" sebastian asked
" no actually he is avoiding me" rachel said
" quinn what about her" sebastian asked
" she has been nice to me she apologised to me and she seemed sincere to me" rachel said
" santana " sebastian asked
" quinn told her to leave me alone she has given me some funny looks but not said anything" rachel said
" what about dave any trouble from him since the lima bean incident " sebastian asked
" no" rachel said
" well thats something " sebastian said
" i guess." rachel said before yawning
" will take him downstairs while you dress" sebastian said taking jacob who had now finished feeding he started burping him as he walked out of the room.
rachel got some pjs on and her dressing gown on then headed downstairs hiram was working late leroy was making dinner.
" you look tired" leroy said
" seven weeks without sleep does that to you" rachel said
" i will watch him tonight you get some rest" leroy said sebastian was holding jacob frequently kissing the top of his head.
" no he isnt your responsibility " rachel said
" no he isnt but you are" leroy said giving her a hug
" i will have him" sebastian said
" but your dad" rachel said
" atleast as of monday he cant refuse to let me have him" sebastian said
" true anyway like i said i will watch him tonight you have a good night sleep you have had a difficult week you deserve it" leroy said
" thank you" rachel said
" anyway i want to spend as much time with him as i can after you graduate you will be off to new york with the little guy wont you " leroy said she saw sebastian look at leroy then at jacob he didnt look happy
" daddy i might not graduate" rachel said
" ofcourse you will princess " leroy said
" i might not get into nyada" rachel said
" baby or no baby your still the talented girl you always have been" leroy said
" but how can i look after jacob and attend college " rachel said
" you will figure something out you always do you thought you wouldnt be a good mom but you are" leroy said
" your taking him with you" sebastian asked
" i dont know what is going to happen like i said i might not even graduate " rachel said
" but i have another at school you cant take him" sebastian said getting upset
" i havent said that i am " rachel said not wanting to fall out about it
" promise me you wont take him away from me" sebastian said tearing running down his face.
" i wont take him away from you " rachel said
" im sorry if i have upset you sebastian i didnt mean to i thought you knew of rachel's dream of broadway and nyada" leroy said
" i do but i thought with having jacob she wouldnt be going" sebastian said
" look i dont know what im going to be doing next year but i promise whatever i do i will discuss with you first and will only do something if you agree" rachel said
" good" sebastian said kissing jacob again.
