he isnt that bad

this isn't awkward at all

its Wednesday rachel hasn't been a too school today as jacob had to have his shots sebastian has just text her to say he was coming to see jacob as the school day as just ended.

sebastian had an exam today so he couldnt go with her to the doctors so rachel knows he i desperate to see him though she is nervous after yesterday.

jacob is grumpy after having his shots he is on is play mat gurgling away when she hears sebastian's car pull up outaide.

she goes to open the door and he walks in not looking at her he instantly gets on the floor with jacob.

" how is my brave little soldier doing did the doctor hurt you im sorry i wasnt there but you had to have them. yes you dod so that you grow up big and strong just like your daddy" sebastian said in his special voice for jacob.

" how was he" sebastian asked not taking his eyes off jacob

" he was ok he screamed louder than he has ever done before" rachel said

" wish i had been there" sebastian said holding jacob's hand before kissing all his little fingers.

" im sorry but they didnt have any afternoon appointments" rachel said

" oh no i didnt mean anytning by it i just dont like the idea of him hurting and not been there. plus i cant have been nice for you seeing him so scared and upset" sebastian said

" no it wasnt very nice" rachel said

" did the mean doctor hurt you my little man come to daddy" sebastian said picking jacob up.

" did the doctor say we need to keep an eye on him incase he has a reaction" sebastian asked

" we have to check that his temperature doesnt go up" rachel said

" bless him" sebastian said sitting on the couch wih jacob in his arms.

"  yeah" rachel said stood awkwardly not knowing what to say or do.

" your dads not home" sebastian asked

" no i thought they would be home by now " rachel said

" there was quite alot of traffic" sebastian said

" im just gonna go express some milk" rachel said

" ok" sebastian said rachel walked up to her room to use her breast pump.

as sebastian sat there holding jacob who was staring up at him millions of thoughts raced through sebastian's mind. 
" what should i do little man" sebastian said as jacob gurgled

" what do you think mommy would say if daddy told her that when he isnt  thinking about you he is thinking about her." sebastian said jacob gave him a smile.

" what do you think mommy would say eh little man" sebastian said looking at jacob who seemed to have cheered up alittle.

" shall i do it shall i risk everything in hope of us been an family" sebastian said

" would you like that i would there isnt anything i want more" sebastian said stroking jacob's face

" no there isnt little man" sebastian said in hisnbaby voice which made jacob smile up at him.

" uncle blaine is right daddy cant go on like this" sebastian said

" dont you worry little man no matter what happens i am going to love you yes i am nothing could make me not love you.  your my world yes you are you are with those eyes and that smile" sebastian said as rachel came down the stairs.

" he seems more cheerful" rachel said reaching the bottom of the stairs

" its because his daddy is here" sebastian said

" im gonna make a coffe do you want one" rachel asked

" yes please" sebastian said

" daddy never says no to coffee" sebastian asked tickling jacob's tummy.

as rachel made her way back through to the living room with the two coffees she hoped they wouldnt fall into a awkward silence.

" here you go " rachel said placing his coffee on the coffee table

" thank you " sebastian said rachel sat down on the opposite couch.

" so how was your exam" rachel asked

" it was ok i think i will have passed it" sebastian said

" good" rachel said

" i have another exam next week" sebastian said

" good luck with it" rachel said

" thank you " sebastian said as jacob started to cry

" you want to feed him" rachel asked

" yeah" sebastian said rachel got up and walked into the kitchen to get a bottle of her breast milk ready.

" are you hungry is your mommy sorting out your bottle she is little man wont be long now my son is daddy going to feed you yes i am. that isnt all daddy has made a decision i am going to your mommy what she means to me i am im going to brave liek you were at the doctors" sebastian said

rachel

rachel walked back into the room and handed the bottle to sebastian who tuck it and began feeding jacob

" is your mom ok" rachel said looking out of the window

" yeah she is ok my dad is been a bit of a dick with their divorce but all in all i think she is happy" sebastian said

" good im pleased for her" rachel said

" yeah me too" sebastian said

" have you seen your dad" rachel asked

" no thankfully " sebastian said

after jacob was fed and burped he fell asleep in sebastian's arms so he placed him in his moses basket that was in the corner of the living room.

rachel went and sat down on the couch wondering if she should bring up the subject of  sebastian lying to hunter.

" i think we should talk" sebastian said

" ok" rachel said sebastian walked over and sat next to her

" right then im guessing you realise i lied to hunter" sebastian said

" yes" rachel said.

" when i walked in the lima bean that day and saw you with him it hurt me" sebastian said

" but i wasnt doing anything wrong " rachel asked

" i know but thats the thing about love isnt it you dont always think rationally " sebastian said ravhel fidgeted in her seat.

" there is something i need to tell you something that i have wanted to tell you for months but hage bern to afraid too" sebastian said

" ok" rachel said feeling nervous about what he was about to say.
