as the warblers finished singing hungry eyes from dirty dancing sebastian kissed rachel's cheek bwfore walking her back to her seat before he himself sat down.

" this is amazing" rachel said

" it had to be" sebastian said

" are you ready for your starters" trent asked

" yes please" sebastian said the warblers all dispersed out of the room it would have been weird them all stood there whilr they ate.

noah puckerman put on some music now it was classical and quite quiet ot added to the mood but wasnt distracting.

trent came back into the room carrying two plates

" your starter madam mushrooms in a creamy yet light garlic sauce" trent said noah whipped out a napkin and placed it on her lap while trent did the same to sebastian.

" is everything to your liking" sebastian asked

" delicious " rachel said

" thank you babe and hownis your food" sebastian said  chuckling

" honestly" rachel giggled

"  was going to get us some wine but i thought given our history we best not" sebastian said

" probably a good idea" rachel said

" each kid adds twenty dollars on to your pool price" noah said form by the door

" well thats one waiter who wont be getting a tip" sebastian said

" honestly " rachel said

" its weird to think back to the last time we were in this room so much has happened since" sebastian said

" yeah our lives have changed" rachel said

" i dont regret any of it... well i would have liked us to have been a couple when you found out you were pregnant but its all worked out now" sebastian said rachel felt emotional as she thought back to that night her dads were still alive so much really had changed.

" are you alright" sebastian asked taking hold of her hand

" sorry im just thinking about my dads" rachel said getting more upset sebastian got up and knelt down by her chairs holding her.

" dont apologise your grieving and not just for your dads your grieving for the life you had with them its understandable let it out" sebastian said

" princess " noah said handing her a box of tissues.

" thank you noah" rachel said

" noah trent could you give us a minute" sebastian said

" sure but for future reference only rach my mom and my lil sis call me noah" noah said before he and trent left the room.

" i was going to wait until after desert to give you this but i thnk you will appreciate it now" sebastian said getting up off his knee and walking to the council desk. he picked something up and walked back to her and handed the flat square jewellery box.

rachel opened it up to see a beautiful locket sebastian reached over and picked the locket up ndnopened it up to show her. inside was a photo of each other her dads and in the middle a loose photo of jacob when he was born had been placed rachel felt her eyes fill up again as she looked at the photos.

" i was just gona have it with your dads but he is a part of them and i know how hard monday is going to be for you been away from him so now he will always be with you." sebastian said rachel nodded unable to talk as she cried.

" i was going to put a photo of me in there too but they never do me justice im so much better in person" sebastian said making her laugh.

" you know what i love the most about you is how humble you have become" rachel said finding her voice.

" now i had some more things planned but how about i instruct our waiters to pack away the main course and desert and we go home to our son think you need him dont you" sebastian said rachel had confided in sebastian that she was having trouble been apart from jacob since her dads had died.

" i dont want to spoil tonight you put so much thought..." rachel started to say

" i will still be spending the evening with you sounds pretty good to me." sebastian said

" ok then if you dont mind" rachel said

" ofcourse not" sebastian said

" wait" rachel said

" you ok " sebastian asked looking concerned

" one more dance" rachel said

" i'd like that" sebastian said  helping her  up of her chair they began swaying on the spot to the music rachel felt so safe in his arms. shw was annoyed at herself for spoiling tonight but she was missing her dads more and more next week was her eighteenth birthday and she was dreading it without them.

half an hour later they arrived back at the house their meals carefully packed up in a picnic hamper for them rachel couldnt wait to see jacob.

as she and sebastian walked into the house everyone looked surprised to see them.

" are you ok" quinn asked running over and hugging her.

" im just emotional" rachel said breaking down again.

" is it because of your birthday " kurt asked

" is it because you were feelingnhapoy then felt guilty fot feeling that way" blaine asked rachel nodded.

" your dads would want you to be happy dont feel bad about enjoying yourself" quinn said

" where is..." rachel started to ask

" mercedes is just changing his diaper " kurt said

" has he been alright" rachel asked

" fine think he loves the attention he has beeb0n very much admired" hunter said walking over to them.

" he is his mothers son " sebastian said as mercedes came walking into the room with him she brought him straight over to rachel who instantly tuck him showering him with kisses.

" thank you guys for looking after him" sebastian said

" it was our pleasure " kurt said

" i made him laugh" hunter said quinn cuddled upto him.

" really what did you do" rachel asked

" i pretended to be a goat" hunter said

" i got on the floor he ws on his play mat and i mimicked a goat it might sound weird but he loved it sean my sisters little boy does" hunter said

" quite good with kids" kurt saod pointing to hunter.

" anyway we will leave you now its been fun lookig after him" blaine said huging rachel.

once their team of babysitters had left rachel put jacob to bed when she came back downstairs sebastian had laid out a blanket on the living room floor.

" i thought seen as though our food is in a picnic hamper we might as well have a picnic the main course is in the oven been heated up" sebastian said pulling her into a cuddle.

" thank you for understanding " rachel said

" there is no need to thank me just spending time with you makes it perfect and we got to dance" sebastian said as the oven buzzer went off.

" thats our food ready you sit down" sebastian said before giving her a kiss before heading into the kitchen.
