as rachel and sebastian stood looking at maggie who seemed quite happy jacob began crying in the next room.

" i will get him" sebastian said leaving the room.

" i cant believe she caused you pain" rachel said

" now rach you must never blame yourself i certainly dont blame you your as unlike her as seb is charles. your the person your dds wanted you to be your kind intelligent and a brilliant mom all qualities shelby lasks. sebastian is like my father he can be stubborn and proud but deep down where it mtters he is thoughtful loving and caring my father adored seb. when i told him he was going to be a grandfather he was so proud and when he saw sebastian for the first time my mother said he was perfect my father said well ofcourse he is our maggie's. my fathers full name was sebastian jacob Hamilton. when seb told me you two had discoved bby names and that you liked the name jacob i thought of my father.  he would have hit the roof had he been alive that seb was going to be a dad at his age but he would have been proud of the father he has become. " maggie said getting teary eyes thinking of her dad rachel couldnt help but think about hers.

" my dad leroy his dad was called jacob  and my other dad hiram his cousin was called javob he died when he was young he got cancer." rachel said

" its a good strong name" maggie said as sebastian walked in carrying jacob

" our little man is hungry" sebastian said handing him to rachel before seeing his mom was upset he hugged her as ravhel sat down to feed jacob.

" well seb i think after the events of this evening we should introduce rachel to our family tradition" maggie said

" i agree you get the snacks i will get the dvd ready" sebastian asked

" whats going on " rachel said as maggie left the room

" when i was young and my dad upset is which was pretty often my mom and i had thing this where she would makes us some snacks we would put blankets over the couchs and pillows put on the wizard of oz turn all the lights off and just lwy there all warm and cosy and safe" sebastian said

" thats so sweet when i was sick when i was younger which wasnt often thankfully my dads would make me trifle and cupmof fresh ornge juice then but any barbra movie on" rachel said getting upset thinking out it the last time had beenwhen she was heavily pregnant and on bed rest.

" yeah come here" sebastian said doing his best to cuddle her but not squash jacob who was breastfeeding.

" just thinking about my dads and her how dare she want jacob " rachel said

" i know if any child needs adopting its beth having gotton to know quinn  i think she would be better off with her. i mean shelby reaches out to you then leaves you then comes back says she isnt your mom.  then she adopts beth rubbing in your face that ehe does want to be a mom but not to you. she then leave then comes back breaking the deal of the adoption saying she wants quinn to be in beths life without seeing if quinn wants that. i mean does she quinn will just be able to see beth and be ok with that and then after all that she thinks she is a better mother than you. you who have put jacobs needs before yours since before he was born who the hell is she" sebastian said

" here we are" maggie said arriving with chips dips

" i will get the blankets " sebastian said

" has he told you about our tradition" maggie asked sitting down next to rachel

" he has" rachel said as jacob finished feeding

" why dont i burp him you go get gour pjs on might as well be comfy" maggie said taking jacob who was smilig at her.

as rachel made her way back down stairs sebastian was walking up them carrying jacob

" gonna put him to bed" sebastian said

" goodnight little man" rachel said kissing his face. they had bathed him earlier with shelby coming round for dinner.

once jacob was in asleep rachel sebastian and maggie all sat on the couches in the dark watching the wizard of oz rachel had to admit it really did cheer her up.
