•This chapter is dedicated to two of my friends, Kayla and Petra. I ship you guys so hard•

When we got to the church, I was amazed. The church was beautiful, with a huge stained glass window and white walls. Dan led me in, because apparently he had been there before. He showed me our seats and I sat down, observing everything.

All the people; some with their kids, some with their spouse, girlfriend, or boyfriend. Some people were alone. Everyone was wearing nice clothes, the guys all in suits and nice ties and all the women in their nicest dresses. The bridesmaids were wearing adorable red dresses with roses in their bouquets.

Then I looked around the church. It was very traditional, which made me love it even more. It had nice wooden seats and the walls were lined with windows. The sunshine was shining through the neatly colored glass, making beautiful shadows appear on the floor. The little kids chasing the little colored tiles.

Everyone was coming up to Dan and saying hello. He would say hi back and give them all hugs and handshakes as I sat there awkwardly.

"Hi! I haven't seen you in forever!" Dan exclaimed to a girl about our age, she was a little curvy, with shoulder length brown hair with blonde highlights in it. And she was beautiful.

"Oh my god, Dan! Why are you so tall now!? I'm still stuck down here!" She laughed. She was about 5'4".

"Well, I don't know. I didn't ask to be tall." He said, giving her a hug. He quickly pulled away. "Oh, and this is my boyfriend, Phil."

I smiled politely and tried to push back any anxiety I had about meeting someone new.

"Hey! I'm Petra, Dan's cousin." Petra smiled at me and stuck out her hand. I shook it.

"Phil. The boyfriend." I told her.

"Nice to meet you. You're lucky, Dan's a cool guy." She nodded at me. I took back my hand and shoved it in my pocket.

I exhaled, trying to build up some courage to ask her where she was from. She had an accent that I couldn't quite place.

"Yeah. He is," I smiled at her. "Where are you from?"

"Oh! I was born in America. Then when I was 10, I moved to Manchester." She told me, smiling. Her smile was so cute.

"Hey, Dan." A girl walked up behind Petra. She was also pretty, with a little longer than shoulder length. It was extremely curly and dark blonde. She was a few inches taller than Petra.

"Kayla! I haven't seen you in forever! How are you?" Dan asked her, giving her a hug as well.

"Dan!" She smiled into his shoulders. She winked at me from behind Dan's back. I was startled.

"Phil, Kayla. Kayla, Phil." Dan introduced us, pushing me in front of him a bit. I shyly waved.

"I'm Kayla. Petra's girlfriend." Kayla grinned. "And by 'girlfriend', I mean we're actually dating."

"I figured. And I'm Phil. Dan's boyfriend. We're also actually dating." I told her.

"Ah." She nodded with a sly smile.

"Yeah." I said, pulling my hand away and stuffing it in my pocket again.

"Wow, you guys are really pretty." I mumbled, hoping they didn't hear me.

"Oh, thank you!"

"Aw, thank you, Phil. You're so sweet." They both smiled and blushed together. They were a really cute couple.

I ducked my head down to hide that my face was on fire. I was blushing so hard that my face was probably as red as a strawberry.

"Um.. it looks like the thing is starting. So we'll see you later?" Dan saved me.
