We walked out of the hotel together, in a search for some food. Dan threw his arm around my shoulders as we walked. That was my favorite thing that he did, because it made me feel so small. But safe.
"Okay. So, where do you want to go?" Dan asked me, stopping on a street corner.
"I don't know, I don't live here." I told him, looking around. It was warm and sunny in the little suburban area. There were some little shops around, and a few people roaming around.
"Then lets go near the campus. We'll need to know what places are good before we go to uni." He suggested. I nodded and we walked along the pavement. He almost took his arm off my shoulder, but I grabbed it and put it back.
"You like that, then?" Dan asked me, leaning his head on mine a bit while we walked. I wrapped my arm around his skinny waist.
"You like that?" I asked him back, not wanting to admit that I did actually love it.
"Yes. But I asked first." He said and he stopped both of us.
"Come on, let's go. I'm hungry." I pushed to move, but he put his foot in front of mine. I sighed loudly.
"Yes. I like it. Can we go now?" I whined and pushed on his foot. He nodded and we started to walk again.
"I like you too." He told me as we looked around the little town.
"I think we've gone a little past liking each other, right?" I looked up at him, squeezing his small waist harder.
"Alright. I love you, then." He said.
"I love you too." I told him. "Ah! We're here."
"Oh, it's so nice! Look at it, babe!" His face lit up when he saw the huge main building. It was beautiful, with pretty trees all around it. There were a few buildings behind it, which were probably for classes and dorms. It was all green with leaves, and it didn't look at all like London.
"It's so pretty!" I exclaimed, grinning and pushing up my glasses. Dan grinned down at me and kissed the top of my head. We stood there for a few seconds, just looking at it.
"Should we look for places around here to eat and stuff?" I asked after a minute. He nodded and we walked away.

A few hours later, we were sitting in a little coffee shop that. It was crowded for such a small town, with some people sitting alone. Some with friends or relatives, some with their boyfriend or girlfriend, husband or wife.
So Dan and I were sitting there with some coffees. We were sitting far too close together for some people's liking. We were getting stared at by a few people and I heard little whispers.
I tried to scoot over without Dan noticing, but he pulled me back a bit by my arm.
"You alright?" He asked innocently, laying my head on his shoulder. I sighed.
"Yeah- I guess people are... Never mind." I mumbled, lifting my head up and scooting away a little more.
"People are what?" Dan cocked his head to the side. He was confused why I wasn't being all lovey, like I usually was, even in public.
"Staring. Whispering." I told him, looking around and playing with the end of my shirt.
"Oh. Sorry for that." His face dropped slowly and he looked disappointed. I could almost feel him thinking. I didn't know you were embarrassed by me.
"Never mind it." I said and scooted closer to him. I pulled the shirt of his collar and kissed him hard. He hesitated for a second but then kissed back. I deepened it, not caring about the weird glances we were getting.
