"Are you really watching Buffy on Christmas Eve?" Martin scoffed, walking into the TV room. I nodded, eyes fixated on the television. Buffy was and is the best show known to humankind, I wasn't going to stop then.

I was excited for Christmas. I liked giving presents more than getting presents, honestly. I know it sounds weird, but getting them are a little awkward. Oh yeah, thanks! I don't know what that is...

I had bought a few presents for my friends and family. I got a few movies for Martin, a candle for Mum, a tool kit for Dad, a sketch pad for Cece, and 2 Fall Out Boy CDs for Dan.

I would've bought more, but I didn't have much money. I felt like they all represented what I wanted to say to them. I loved them all so genuinely.

"Do you want to go into town?" Martin asked, sitting down on the couch with me. I did want to go, but... Buffy.

"After the episode, yeah." I told him. He didn't leave, he just stayed with me. I paused the show, and he looked at me, confused.

"Promise leave you'll never leave home." I turned to him. I didn't ever want him to go. I didn't want to grow up. I didn't want him to grow up.

I just wanted the world to freeze, so we could just say here. With my brother, my parents, my friends. Everyone.

"Phil. You know I can't do that." He said sadly. I nodded, tears in my eyes.

"I-I know." I whispered. I had to accept it, but I knew I couldn't for a while.

"Lets go to town now." Martin said, patting my back. I nodded again, getting up. We hugged for a while.

"Get your coat, it's cold." He laughed a bit tearily. I was teary as well, but rolled my eyes at him.

"Martin, please don't turn into Mum." I groaned at him. He chuckled as I went to grab Dan's coat.

It was Christmas morning. Finally! I got up at 5 in the morning and ran to my parents bedroom.

"Wake up wake up wake up!!!" I squealed like a 5 year old and climbed on my parent's bed. They both groaned at the same time, mumbling 'go away, Phil' s

"But it's Christmas!" I whined. I got very festive on Christmas morning, and it was a little annoying when people were trying to sleep.

"You're too old for this!" My dad groaned. I took a little offense to that, no one is ever too old for Christmas.

"Whatever. I'll wake you up later." I said loudly, just to annoy them. The moaned again and I left the room.

"Martin wake up its Christmas!" I yelled, jumping on my brothers bed. He moaned louder than my two parents combined. He was a late sleeper, and wasn't used to getting up before 11:00.

"Shut up, Phil." My brother's groan escaped the duvet covering his face. I huffed. No one was in the mood.

I left his room, a little disappointed at my family for being so boring. I went back to my room and laid down on my bed. A clicking noise started appearing.

I bolted up when I heard it at first, then laid back down, thinking it was just the house making a noise. Then I heard it again. It was coming from the window. It sounded like pebbles being thrown. I cautiously opened my curtains and looked outside. No one.

"Hey! Down here!" A male voice yelled from on the ground. I looked down.

It was Dan.

"Dan, what are you doing here?" I asked him when I got down on the ground. He grinned goofily at me.

"Merry Christmas!" He said simply, still grinning like an idiot. I smiled too, it was contagious.

"I came here early-I knew you'd be up- so I could give you this." Dan pulled a box out from behind him. It was very nicely wrapped, and it had a huge bow on it.

"Aw! Dan! You didn't have to get me anything!" I blushed in the cold air. He just shrugged and handed me the box. I took it and looked at it. It was so pretty, I almost didn't want to open it.

I did eventually, after Dan urging me for a few minutes. I ripped open the wrapping paper and gasped.

It was a camera. A nice one! A digital camera that could take video and everything.

"Dan!" I exclaimed and hugged him tightly. I had told him I wanted one, but I didn't think he would remember. He hugged back, hard.

"I thought you'd like it." He grinned when we pulled away. I took it out of the packaging. It was already charged! He must have thought that out a lot.

"I love it! Dan, how much did you spend on this?" I asked, turning it on. It was beautiful. It was also the first real camera I had ever gotten.

"Just a little, but I saved up. I wanted to get too something special." He blushed, digging his feet into the ground. I smiled widely again.

"It's the best present I've ever gotten." I said happily. He shook his head.

"But you haven't even-" he started

"Because it's from you." I cut him off, adjusting my glasses. His face turned red.

"Here, lets take a picture. I want to have this picture for a memory." I said, scooting closer to him.

"Okay." He agreed, fluffing his already perfect hair. I set up the camera, I already knew how to use it.

"One, Two, Thre- Phil!" Dan counted down. At the last second, I surprise kissed his cheek, and his mouth dropped open. I turned the camera around and looked at the photo.

Perfect.

"Yes." I told Dan. He tilted his head a little, while I grinned at him.

"Yes what?" He asked, still embarrassed by the kiss.

"Yes, I'll be your boyfriend."
