Everything went back to normal when LEs were back. Prof. Bryce had told us that HM Jade decided to extend our rest since LEs except Sairi weren’t able to enjoy their rest that week because they were put into the underground. We’ll be here for a week, just chilling or doing some indoor and outdoor activities.

The clubhouse was designed like a cruise ship with glass walls and a veranda overlooking  the large swimming pool surrounding the clubhouse, a mountain view, and wide golf course outside. There were two-lane bowling alley; volleyball, tennis, and badminton court; fitness center gym; multiple lounges with a fireplace; a café; dining; and twenty guestrooms inside.

It was really huge. I am often at the lounge reading a book or at the veranda—just looking at the mountain view and admiring it. Angie and Michi had been telling me to join them playing but I always declined. I am just not into sports. Wala akong alam laruin sa mga ‘yon. The boys were often at the fitness gym or playing bowling.

“What about we’ll do hiking tomorrow?” Hikari suggested during our dine.

Natigil ako sa pagkain at liningon siya. “We’ll have to wake up early then.”

Ngumisi siya. “So this time, sasama ka na?”

Tumango ako.

“Okay then. Maghi-hiking tayo bukas!” maligayang saad ni Angie. “Tayong lahat, ah.”

“As long as I’m with you, I’m in,” nakangising saad ni Mizu at kumindat pa rito.

Kaze and Raiton sighed but they didn’t say anything. Angie’s face was flushing yet she tried to look at him and rolled her eyes.

After that dinner, I went to the veranda to breathe fresh air. I was welcomed by the cold breeze that touched my skin. I wasn’t wearing a jacket so I just hugged myself to lessen the cold I’m feeling. I looked up and saw the full moon above. It was yellow and huge and sometimes, the clouds were covering it as it was slowly moving.

It was already seven in the evening and the LEs were still loud outside.

They wouldn’t be LEs if they weren’t like that though.

“You seemed cold, so...” aniya sa namamaos na boses.

“Aren’t you cold too?”

“They seemed to be enjoying there,” tukoy ko sa LEs, sa kaniya nakatingin. “Aren’t you joining them?”

“You are here,” he said nonchalanty like it answered my question.
