#9 He talks about your baby

"Bye Ni, have fun with James" I said as I kissed Niall's lips, holding our 2 month old daughter, Aaliyah, in my arms.
"Bye love" he said.
"Bye bye princess!" He said in a baby voice kissing Aaliyah's forehead .

Niall's POV

I was sat on the sofa and James was behind his desk.

"So Niall, you recently had a baby? " he said and I nodded. "Yeah, she's 2 months old" I told him smiling.
"She's called Aaliyah, right?" He asked.
"Yep" I said
"So why Aaliyah? It's quite an unusual name" he said.
"Well we didn't really want her to have a common name we wanted it to be unique . Y/n had its of baby name books from her mum and we looked through them and write down what names we liked and we centrally came up with a decision, I chose her first name and y/n chose her middle name" I said.
"What's her middle name?" He asked.
"Her middle name is Grace" I told him.

"So the big question, who does she look like and who does she take after?" James asked.
"Well she looks more like me, she only got y/n's nose, the rest is from me, but y/n says she takes after me, she's always smiling and always seems happy and she has a big appetite" I said chuckling.

"So everyone knows, baby's can't sleep for a whole night, they wake up several times , we want to get in there and know everything, so who does the night feeds and checks on her and the big question who's in diaper duty!" He asked and I laughed.
"Well usually if I'm at the studio all day y/n is with her so usually ill wake up at night with her but y/n will do it sometimes , same with diaper duty it depends who's done what that day and how busy they've been and so on. I'm not going to lie though, even though she sleeps in our room, she does have her own room with a crib but she's too young too sleep in a crib so she has the Moses basket in our bedroom and it's against the wall closest to my side of the bed and I do check on her a lot, I just seem to worry all the time thinking there's something wrong when she's absolutely fine" I explained and James nodded.
"Are you going to be one of those over protective dads, that will ban her from dating until your dead and you'll need to know where she is at all times, who she is hanging around with and everything like that" he said smirking.
"Probably" I said and he laughed.
"So is she a daddy's girl? Or a mummy's girl?" He asked.
"A daddy's girl! Hands down! She will never be a mummy's girl!" I said and smiled.

"Have the boys met her yet?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Yeah, when she was born she had to stay in hospital for 3 days, my parents met her first on the day she was born since we live in mullingar, and then the second day it was the boys that came which was a surprise but they brought a balloon and a few gifts for her and then the third day y/n's parents met her"  I explained.

"So what was your parents reaction to meeting her? What did they say about her?" James asked.
"Well they both love her a lot, they're happy that they have a granddaughter as well as a grandson" I said.
"My mum was literally crying saying things like 'oh my baby's all grown up' and things like that and my dad literally just hugged me and patted my back saying 'I'm very proud of you both, she's beautiful'" I added.

"Do you have a picture of her on you?" James asked and I nodded. I got my wallet out and opened it to where the 3 pictures where, a scan picture, a picture of me and her and a picture of me, y/n and her.
I took the picture of her and me and passed it to James.

"Aww, she's gorgeous and she does look a lot like you" he said and the picture came up on the big screen for the audience to see.
"Awww" the crowd awed.
"Wait! Are you crying on this?" James said.
"Yeah, it was a happy time!" I said defensively and he laughed.

"Well people are saying me that's all we have time for so thank you for being here on the audience and thank you for being our special guest Niall!" He said and the lights went down.
We stood up and he gave me a hug as we walked backstage together.
"I need to meet her one day" he said.
"We could go out to lunch tomorrow, I'm sure y/n would be up for it and if not I can just bring her" I suggested.
"That would be awesome" he said.7
