#23 Niall's Birthday

Happy 24th birthday Niall!!

Your POV

I woke up and Niall's arms were wrapped around me.
I smiled to myself and escaped his grasp climbing out of bed.
I glanced at him, his brown hair a mess, his mouth slightly shape and his struggle growing.

I left the room and walked into my eldest child's room. Niall and I have two daughters, 3 year old Aaliyah and 10 month old Isabelle.

I saw that Aaliyah had woken up and was rubbing her eyes.
"You coming helping me make breakfast for daddy?" I asked.
She nodded smiling.
She got out of bed and followed me downstairs.
I made her some cereal and started on making a full English  for Niall(eggs,bacon, sausage etc)

By the time I had laid it on a plate Aaliyah had finished.

"C'mon sweetie, we can get Issy and then wake daddy up" I said and Aaliyah nodded.
We walked upstairs quietly.
"Hold daddy's breakfast why I get Isabelle please" I said to Aaliyah.
"Okay mummy" she said holding the plate.
I had his cup of tea still in my hand, I don't want Aaliyah spilling it on herself.
I picked Isabelle up with one arm and held her on my hip.

We all walked into mine and Niall's bedroom and Aaliyah put his breakfast on his bedside table.
"Wake daddy up" I whispered and placed Isabelle on the end of the bed.
Isabelle climbed up the bed and lied on Niall's stomach and Aaliyah started to poke his cheek and whisper 'daddy' repeatedly.
I could see Niall smile which meant he was awake. He loves it when they wake him up, even though he doesn't like that he has to get out of bed.

He opened his eyes and sat up adjusting Isabelle so she was on his lap.
He wrapped an arm around Aaliyah and leaned down kissing her temple , then kissing Isabelle's temple.
"Good morning my beautiful princesses" he mumbled.
"And good morning my stunning wife" he said and winked. I smiled and rolled my eyes playfully sitting in the bed next to Aaliyah.
I leaned over and kissed his lips.

"Happy birthday daddy!" Aaliyah said.
"Thanks princess" he said.
"How old are you now daddy? Are you a big boy?" She asked.
"Yeah! I'm 26 now!" He said.
"That's old! I'm 3 and I'm a big girl!" She said.
Niall and I both laughed.
"I know you're a big girl but I'm not old" he said.
Aaliyah gave him a look to say 'yes you are old'.

She suddenly gasped.
"I need to get daddy's present!" She said running out of the room to get the present and card she had for Niall.

I went into my drawer and pulled out a card and present for him.
I passed it to him and he smiled.
He opened the card.

Happy 26th birthday Niall! I couldn't imagine my life without you!
The greatest day of my life was marrying you!  I love you so much and I hope you have the best birthday ever!  Xxx

"Awe thanks love" he said smiling.
He opened his present and looked shocked.
I bought him a new Rolex watch since his is a little old.
"This must have cost so much! Thank you!" He said and kissed my cheek.
"I don't mind spending money on things for people I love" I said.

Aaliyah came running back in with a present from her and issy and a card and drawing she made.

She sat back between Niall and I.
"Here daddy" she said giving him the things.
He opened the card first.

To the bestest daddy ever!
I love you so so much daddy! I hope you have a really good birthday with me and mummy and issy!

"Thanks princess" he said kissing her cheek.
He unfolded the paper and looked at the picture.
"That's you daddy, that's mummy, that's me and that's Isabelle" she said pointing to each person.
At the top of the page it said 'happy birthday daddy'

Niall opened the present. It was a little ornament in the shape of guitar and it had 'super daddy' engraved into it.

"Wow" Niall muttered to himself as he looked at it. He kissed Aaliyah and Isabelle and put the ornament on his bedside table .
"That's amazing" he said taking about the present.

We had all gotten ready to go to Mauras house. She was throwing a family get together for Niall's birthday. Most of his family will be there.

We arrived at Maura and climbed out of the car.
I picked Isabelle up and Niall held Aaliyah's hand as we crossed the road.
We knocked on the door and Maura answered. She smiled widely.
"Oh we where waiting for you four! Everyone's here!" She said hugging me and Aaliyah.
"Happy birthday son!" She said happily pulling Niall in for a hug.
"Thanks mum" he said taking Aaliyah's hand.
It was an unusually sunny day for September so we all sat in the back garden.

Aaliyah ran off to play with Theo and some of Niall's young cousins and Isabelle was on my lap.
She was shaking she rattle and making lots of noise. Aaliyah is more shy and reserved than Isabelle is.

Aaliyah came running back to Niall and I.
She made her way around Niall's chair and climbed onto his lap.
"I don't wanna play anymore" she said.
"Why princess?" Niall asked moving her hair out of her face.
"I too tired and I wanna spend time with you!" She said cutely and Niall smiled.

Niall kissed her cheek and she smiled and pouted her lips facing him.
He smiled and kissed her lips.
"Daddy? How old was you when I was born?" She asked.
"I was 23 and when issy was born I was 25" he told her.
"How long have you and mummy been together?" She asked.
"Well I met her when I was 18 at one of mine and your uncles big concerts. We got on really well and I really like her so I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes and then 3 years later when I was 21 I asked her to marry me and she said yes. When I was 22 we got married and then you were born when I was 23!" He explained.

"Will I ever get married daddy?" Aaliyah asked.
"Of course you will! All beautiful princesses get married! But you have to wait for your prince and you have to wait until you're older" he told her and she smiled.
