#109 4 Boys

"Boys are you ready to go to the interview?" I shouted up to my husband and my 10 year old twins, Liam and Luke.
My 5 year old son, Ethan and 7 month old son , Noah ,was in the living room playing together.

The twins came running down the stairs.
"Where's your dad?" I asked.
"He's doing his hair" Luke said rolling his eyes.
"As usual" Liam added.
I chuckled.
"Can you watch your brothers for a minute while I go see how long your dad will be" I asked and they nodded going into the living room.

I walked upstairs into mine and Niall's bedroom.
He wasn't there so I went into our en suite bathroom.
He was stood, his hair flat with no product in yet.

"Hey princess" He said as I sat at the edge of the bathtub.
"Hey babe, How long do you think you'll be?" I asked.
"Not long, Where's the lads?" He asked.
"They're downstairs, Liam and Luke are watching Ethan and Noah for me" I said and he nodded.
I stood up and hugged Niall from behind as he finished, his brown hair now up in a quiff.
"I love you" I said.
"I love you too" he said and pecked my lips.
"Now let's go down to our boys so we can get to that interview" he said.

"So y/n How is it being the only girl?" James asked.
"It's not actually that bad, none of my stuff gets stolen by the kids" I said.
"They steal your stuff?" James asked Niall.
"These two do" he said pointing to the twins that were either side of him. Ethan was on his lap and Noah was on my lap.
"Liam always takes my socks and Luke takes my SnapBacks that I still have from being like 18" he said.
"Mummy, can I sit on your lap?" Ethan asked.
"Yes But Why don't you want to stay on daddy's lap?" I asked and he shrugged.
He climbed off of Niall's lap and came to me. I passed Noah to Niall and Ethan climbed on to my lap.

"So as of now you have 4 sons together, will there every be a daughter together?" James asked.
"Well I've always wanted to have a daughter so it would be nice to have one, but 5 kids would be a lot so I don't know if it would ever happen" Niall said.
"And if we did try, knowing our luck it would be a boy because we hoped that both Ethan and Noah would turn out to be girls, we were still happy though" I added.
"If you were to have a baby girl, what would you name her?" James asked.
"Well every time we've been coming up with baby names, it's been before we found out the gender, so we've had a bit lost and a girls list. And one name that has appeared on the girls list every time is Amelia" Niall said.

"So What is it like having 4 boys?" James asked.
"It's not that bad yet. But obviously once they hit puberty the house is going to smell of B.O and men's deodorant which I'm not looking forward to" I said.
"Honestly, I think having boys is easier than having girls because I have a niece, Isla, she's 4 (I made her up) and from what I've seen and from what Greg has told me the tantrums that girls have are far far worse than what boys have. He said that they scream , cry and don't give up until they get what they want where as with boys, they have a bit of a cry and scream but then calm down and it doesn't last half as long as it would with girls" Niall added.

"So who's the oldest out of the 4?" James asked.
"Me!" Liam said.
"Only by 4 minutes!" Luke retorted.
"But I'm still the oldest" Liam said and Luke rolled his eyes.

"So do any of them fight with each other?" James asked.
"Obviously, their siblings, all siblings can't stand each other sometimes. It's mainly the twins that argue, Niall and I have had to break up a few fights sometimes but it's never nothing major just a few bruises" I said and Niall agreed.

"So Niall, they're all boys so that means the matter of the talk will be in your hands every time" James said and Niall chuckled.
"So do you know what you'd say?" He asked.
"No, I'll probably just go with the flow, knowing me I'd give them a talk about puberty and then the actual talk about that stuff a year or two later" he said.
