#120 Your kids audition for the x factor

Your POV

"You'll do great!" I said to my 3 children kissing their foreheads.
"Good luck out there, you'll smash it!" Niall said kissing their cheeks.

"The judges are ready for you, good luck" dermot said to our kids.

They all took in shaky breaths and walked into the audition room. Me, Niall, Maura and Bobby waited and watched.

"Oh hello, how are you kids?" Simon asked recognising them.
"We're good" Amelia said.

"You know them?" Louis asked Simon.
"Yes he knows them, I do too, there Niall's kids" Cheryl said.
"Oh now I know who you are" Sharon said.

"So What are your names and ages?" Sharon asked.
"I'm Ethan, I'm 18" Ethan said.
"I'm Aaliyah, I'm 18, 5 minutes younger than Ethan" Aaliyah said.
"And I'm Amelia , I'm 16" Amelia said.

"Do you have a band name?" Louis asked.
"Yes, we are the Emulates" Ethan said.

"What's the meaning behind that? Is there one?" Cheryl asked.
"Well emulate means the same thing as following in someone's footsteps. And we are following in our dads footsteps so we named ourselves that" Amelia explained.
"Okay so what are you going to sing for us?" Simon asked.
"We will be singing Flicker by our Dad" Aaliyah said.
"Okay off you go"

The ids had just finished singing and it was a beautiful performance, Niall May have shed a tear.

"So let's vote!" Louis said.

"That was amazing and it's a yes for me!" Louis said.
"Of course if a yes" Sharon said.
"I'd be stupid to say no, of course it's a yes" Cheryl said.
"You have four yeses!" Simon said.

The kids all smiled and hugged each other.

Me, Niall, Maura and Bobby all ran into the room and hugged the kids.

"That's my babies!" Niall cheered as he kissed each of their heads.
The judges all laughed.
"Thank you so much!" Ethan thanked as we all left.

"And the winner of the X factor is" dreamt started.

"THE EMULATES!" He yelled.
Niall and I cheered loudly and engulfed each other in a hug.

Aaliyah's POV

Oh my god! We've won!

We had a large group hug before running off stage to our mum and dad who were in the front row.

"I'm so proud of you all!" My mum said kissing all of us.

3 years after the X factor.

Ethan's pov

"Wembley stadium. I'm so proud of you and your sister buddy" my dad said as he sat next to me in one of the seats.
I smiled.
"I'm so nervous" I admitted.
"Don't worry, I was before I played here by as soon as you get on that stage and start singing the nerves will go" he told me.

Your POV

3 years later

The twins are now 24 and Amelia is 22. Their band had been going great, they've won many awards and gone on many tours. They've made 5number one albums.
However, they are going on a two year hiatus, mainly due to the fact that Ethan and his girlfriend recently had a baby girl together.
All the kids had moved out and the house was as quiet as ever.

"Is Ethan coming round today with Elodie?" Niall asked me.
Niall May be 42 now, like me but he hasn't changed a bit. He looks basically the same as he did when he was 23. He still acts the same too.
"Yeah he just text me saying he's on his way" I told him.
"Good, I can't wait to meet my little granddaughter! Is Mia coming too?" He asked mentioning Ethan's girlfriend.
"No, Ethan said she getting some Well needed rest" I told him and he nodded sitting next to me.
"It's weird to think we are grandparents now"he said and I agreed.

"Mum! Dad! You ready to meet my little girl?" Ethan asked pushing the pram into the room.

We stood up and hugged and kissed our son.
"Congratulations sweetheart" I said and kissed his cheek.
"Congrats son" Niall said.

Ethan carefully picked Elodie up and placed her in Niall's arms.

"Hello princess, I'm your grandpa, your so beautiful" Niall whispered.
"She's a spitting image of you" he told Ethan who smiled.

Niall then passed Elodie to me.

"Hello Elodie, I'm Grandma! Your daddy and your grandpa are going to spoil you rotten" I whispered.
"Good luck keeping the boys away from her" Niall told Ethan smirking.
