#153 Quadruplets

Quadruplets, Yes, that's what Niall and I have. Four children , all of them 5 months old. Two boys, two girls.
Liam, Luke, Esme and Isla.

"Babe, are you ready for the interview? I've got the boys ready" Niall said holding the boys .
"Yeah" I said holding my daughters.

We sat down on the sofa on the late late show.
Niall had Luke and Isla on his lap and I had Liam and Esme on my lap.

"So guys, quadruplets!" James said and we nodded smiling.
"So first off, tell me who's who" he said.
"Well this is Liam and Esme" I said gesturing to the babies on my lap.
"And this is Luke and Isla" Niall said.

As Niall said that, Isla burst out crying.
Niall started bouncing his knee to try and calm her but she continued crying .
He stood up holding both babies.
"Too many babies, um here James have a baby while I calm this one down!" He said handing Luke to James who laughed.
Niall then went off stage with our crying daughter.

He came back 5 minutes later and sat down with Isla on his lap.
"I'm keeping him" James said and we laughed.
"He's the quietest of them all" I told him.
"Who's the loudest?" James asked.
"Isla" I said pointing to the baby on Niall's lap.

"Anyway So how did quadruplets come about? Because I'm sure you told me that you had trouble conceiving" James said and we nodded.

"Basically, we were trying for a baby for around 5 years and we had been to multiple doctors and they said there was nothing wrong with any of us and that we were both completely fertile" Niall said.
"So after 5 years, nothing had happened and we looked at other options. We did a round of IVF which didn't work, so we did another round which also failed. We decided to wait before trying ivf once more. So last year we did our last round of ivf. This round was successful and then at our first scan instead of one little heart beat, there was four" Niall explained.
"Five years!?" James said and we nodded.
"Everything was worth it in the end though,we got these 4 munchkins" Niall said and I agreed.

"Honestly, not one of them look like you y/n" James said laughing.
"I know, they all look like Niall. Brown hair, blue eyes and rosy cheeks!" I said.
"My cheeks aren't rosy!" Niall protested.
"They were though, when you were younger"
