#113 His interview

Niall's POV

"My wife, she's just so weird it's unbelievable!" I said to Ryan who was interviewing me.
"What do you mean she's weird?" He laughed.
"She's just so random. I'll be there working on a song or whatever and she'll come in and say a really bad pick up line in this weird voice she does , she randomly comes up behind me and starts touching my hair and she scares me a lot. She hid under the bed once, god knows how I don't wake up when she left the bed, but she hid under the bed and when I got out and put my feet on the floor she grabbed my ankle. I thought I was going to die" I explained and he laughed.

"So What about your children? Are they as weird?" He asked.
"Well Ethan, he and y/n like to prank me, the other day y/n did his face paint to make him look like some sort of ghost with blood on them and I was in bed and y/n was having a shower. The room was dark and he came walking in looking like he had risen from a Grave. It was the scariest thing ever" I said.
"I love your family, what about your daughter though? Is she just as weird and random?" He asked.
I made a face.
"She doesn't really join in with the pranks , sometimes though Ethan scares her which isn't good because she comes running to me crying. Aaliyahs only 3 though, so when she speaks she can't form the sentences properly so if she was saying sorry, she'd said I instead of I am and she can't pronounce her r's properly yet, so it's cute when she talks, but she has this laugh, she calls it her evil laugh and it sounds like something you'd hear in a horror film, it's the creepiest thing ever, it's even creepier than the room in my mums house that's full of my awards and posters and stuff" I explained and he laughed.
"So Speaking of your mum, do your kids act like that with her, because from what I've seen in every family , kids are completely different in front of grandparents" Ryan said.
"That is so true, they are perfect when my mum has them, no trouble, no fighting, no tantrums but for me and
y/n they seem to unleash everything. Fighting, tantrums, the lot although they are good sometimes. Ethan never really went through the tantrum stage but Aaliyah's going through it now and it's horrendous! She has a few tantrums a week and she has only ever had 1 tantrum in front of my mum" I said.

"I know they're young but do you ever like to annoy your kids a bit? You know tease them or anything?" Ryan asked.
"Of course I do! When ethan started school last year. When we picked him up to go home I asked him did he have a girlfriend yet. He told me to shut up and then said no because girls are yucky. So I said that he won't think that when you're older. That earned me a telling off from y/n and the silent treatment from Ethan" I chuckled.
"So let's talk about your music, what is the song Flicker about? Everyone is dying to know!" He said.
"I wrote it around this time last year. At the time y/n and I were having problems due to stress with the kids, work and stuff because at that time Aaliyah was still a baby technically. So I started thinking, what would happen if we were to break up. It wasn't a nice thing to think about but I got a good song out of it. So it's basically about looking back at a relationship and all the memories you've had with that person" I explained and he nodded.

"The thing I don't understand is the fact that all of you have gone down different routes and are making different types of music so how did you agree on the music you made as the band" He asked.
"Well we wrote a song brought it back and got feedback. If it was a good song we'd record it and consider it for the album depending on what it sounded like" I explained.

"So on the topic of music and your family, how do they react when you leave for tour? Particularly your kids" He asked.
"Well y/n and I have been together for nearly 10 years so over that time I've gone on a few tours so y/n has kinda gotten used to it. She's still upset when I have to leave but not as much as she used to be" I said.
"What about your son and daughter?" He asked.
"Well Ethan, from what y/n has told me for like the week or two after I've left he'd just be quiet and not himself but he's like that when I leave, he's just quiet which is unusual for him. Aaliyah she usually ends up crying.
So she'll be crying while I'm hugging
and kissing them all goodbye but then when I walks alway to board the flight she ends up screaming and full on sobbing and I always feel horrible leaving her like that but if I went back to her I know I wouldn't end up going on tour because I turn into a massive softie with her and Ethan" I explained.

"Three years ago , the roses call. He confessed to his wife that he had a one night stand with his coworker and got her pregnant. We will be talking to his wife next" Ryan said.

"Holy sh*t!" I said.

"Niall, would you ever do that?"  He asked laughing.
"What? Have a one night stand and get the girl pregnant?" I asked and he nodded.
"No! I'd never have a kid with anyone other than y/n, let alone cheat on her" I said.
"Speaking of that, I've seen on twitter that the fans are saying that you and y/n make the cutest babies and they want to know when the next baby Horan will be here" Ryan told me.
My eyes widened slightly surprised.
"What do they mean when will the next baby Horan be here? Y/n's not even pregnant!" I said.
"Will you ever have another baby though?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'd love to have another baby, but not right now maybe in a year or two" I said.
"Why not right now?" Ryan asked.
"Well, Ethan he's a perfect older brother he wouldn't mind having a baby around. But Aaliyah on the other hand, she's going through that stage where they have tantrums all the time , so she's is hardwork sometimes and also because she is 3 she feels jealous easily. Out of me and y/n, she's closest to me" I started.
"A daddy's girl?" Ryan asked and I nodded smiling.
"So if we had a baby, It would take up a lot of time and attention so she'd get Jealous, have a tantrum, start crying saying that we don't love her anymore and all that fun stuff" I added.
"Obviously, being the youngest child would have its perks" he said and I laughed.

"So What were your kids first words? Seeing as we are talking about them" he asked.
"Ethan, he said his at about 11 months old so it was quite early, he said mamma and for the next month and a half until he picked up more words such as food, Dadda and bottle, it was all he said. He'd be crawling around the house chanting 'mamma' y/n loved rubbing it in my face" I said and Ryan laughed.
"What about your daughter was she the same?" He asked.
"No! No! Her first word was Dadda, it was about a week after her first birthday so a little later than Ethan. But it also took her longer to pick up more words so like Ethan did she'd yell Dadda all the time. So she'd crawl around saying Dadda . I took that opportunity for payback and decided to rub it in y/n's face" I said.

"From what I've seen on twitter, your daughter, Aaliyah, was very lazy as a baby" he said.
"Definitely, She never wanted to walk anywhere , she'd either start walking and stop 2 minutes later and hold her arms up so you'd pick her up or she'd refuse to leave the house until she's put in her pram. She didn't even bother learning to walk like most babies, she just sat there, crawled or lied down most of the time" I said.
"Really? How did you finally get her to walk?" He asked.
"We bribed her. I was on one side of the room and y/n was on the other side holding her up.
I had a baby biscuit and her bottle in my hand. We encouraged her and after god knows how long she walked over to me , stumbling a little, took the biscuit and the bottle and sat down" I said.
"Who does she get that from then?" He asked.
I chuckled.
"Probably me" I said.
"Do the kids take after a certain one  of you?" He asked.
"Looks wise, they're both spitting images of me, there's no doubt about that but personality wise, Ethan has a similar personality to y/n's, quite shy, funny, and he's really clever for his age. But then music wise he's like me, Aaliyah is too, they both like to listen to music and Ethan wants to play guitar and bass and Aaliyah wants to play guitar and piano" I explained.
"What about Aaliyah, who does she take after?" He asked.
"Me, definitely,  first of all she's lazy! I've never known a 3 year old as lazy as her. She's quite outgoing and carefree like me, if we let her she'd go up to strangers and tell them her whole life story and she's really funny" I said.
