#41 Your daughter talks to his Nan

Today me, Niall and our 2 year old daughter are all at his mums house for a family reunion.

All of Niall's family where here. We were sat at a table in the backyard with Maura, Bobby, Greg, Denise, Niall's Nan and Niall's aunt and uncle .

Our two year old daughter, Aaliyah, was playing on the grass with Theo and some of Niall's younger cousins.

I was sat in between Niall and Bobby and Maura was opposite me.

"Nanny! Nanny!" Aaliyah yelled as she ran over to Niall's Nan.
"What's is it sweetie?" Niall's Nan asked.
Niall's Nan absolutely adored Theo and Aaliyah, all most as much as she did Niall and Greg.

"Can I sit on your lap nanny?" She asked.
"Of course!" Niall's Nan said.
Aaliyah climbed up on her chair and got comfy.
"Now, what do you need me for sweetie pie?" She asked.
"How can I get a boy to love me?" Aaliyah asked seriously.
Niall was caught off guard and raised his eyebrows at me after hearing her question.
"You don't need to sweet, your daddy loves you very much" Niall's nan told her.
"But anyway who's this boy you want to love you?" She asked.
"Shawn Mendes!" She said cutely, mispronouncing his name slightly.
"Isn't he a little old for you?" Niall's Nan asked joking with her.
"No Nanny! He always comes to see me and daddy because he is daddy's friend!" She explained.
"Oh , I'm sure he loves you! Who can resist that cute little face?" Niall's Nan asked picking Aaliyah's cheeks making her giggle.

Niall's Nan looked at Niall noticing his confused face because of his daughters question.
"Now I suggest you go and tell daddy about you and that Shawn boy" Niall's Nan said.
"Okay Nanny" Aaliyah said getting off her lap and running to Niall.
She raised her arms up and Niall picked her up placing her on his lap.

"Hey princess! Why did you ask Nanny how to get a boy to love you?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
"I want to get Shawny (her nickname for him) to love me back!" She told Niall.
"Shawny does love you! He told me!" Niall said.
"Really? Can he be my boyfriend and then husband! Just like how you were mummy's boyfriend and now you're mummy's husband!" She asked excitedly.
Niall pulled a thinking face.
"I don't know if I want my baby girl dating" Niall said trying to be serious.
"Please daddy! Shawny is your friend and he's nice!" She said.
"Okay, but he better be good to you and you better still have time for me!" He said.
"I always have time for daddy because daddy is the bestest ever!" She said and Niall smiled kissing her cheek.
"Aww thanks princess, daddy loves you lots and lots" he told her.
"I love you too daddy" she said.
