#98 He does an interview with your baby

Niall's POV

I sat down on the chair in front of the microphone with my 1 year old daughter, Amelia , on my lap.

"So welcome back, this is the radio 1 breakfast show with me Nick Grimshaw and our special guest Niall Horan.

"So who's this little cutie?" Nick asked looking at Amelia who was playing on my phone.

"This is my oh so lovely child Amelia" I chuckled.
"I feel like that was sarcasm" Nick said and I nodded. "It was"
"She can't be that bad!" He said and I gave him a look.
"That bad!? She's the devil dressed as an angel and she's recently started to pull hair , specifically my hair" I said and Nick laughed.

"Right okay so this is a question. In slow hands, what the hell does the lyric 'sweat dripping down our dirty laundry' even mean" he asked.
"Well you know that lyric just kind of happened. There isn't really a meaning but I guess it's just like when things get hot and steamy and you end up sweaty" I explained.

"Next question, can I hold your baby?" Nick asked.
I chuckled and handed Amelia to him.
He sat her on his lap and she looked up at him with a glare.
"For the benefit of radio, Amelia just glared at Nick" I said I to the microphone .

"Dadda" Amelia muttered and I took her back.
"So Niall, What's the best and worst thing about touring?" He asked.
"Well the worst thing is obviously being away from Amelia" I said holding her so she was stood up on my lap.
"Because she's still a baby so there's a lot of things I could've missed such as her first word and I could miss her first steps" I explained.
"What was her first word?" He asked.
"Her first word was Dadda" I told him.

Amelia started to play with my hair.
"Princess what're you doing" I asked.
"Oh I forgot to mention there is actually a camera for when this interview is posted to YouTube" Nick told me and I nodded.

"So where's y/n? It's been a while since we've seen her" Nick said.
"She's back home in Ireland. I'm here in London for the week for some interviews and I dcided to bring Amelia. Y/n's Probably shopping with my mum or something" I said.

"So Speaking of her, what is the worst thing your missus has ever done to you?" Nick asked.
I sat Amelia back down on my lap and gave her my phone again.
"Umm just give me a minute to think" I said and he nodded.
"I know you only asked for one but I don't care" I chuckled.
"She likes to prank me and for one of those pranks her and Amelia, who was about 2 months old at the time his in the basement, god knows how she got the baby to stay quiet, and left a note saying that they'd left and were never coming back. So as you can imagine I was nearly crying" I explained and Nick laughed.

"Is there anything else she's done?" He asked.
"Last week, we were all at my mums house for this annual family reunion thing my mum has. So my whole family was there and I was playing football with My brother, Greg, my nephew , Theo and my dad. When I was in the goal y/n asked to join in so we let her do the penalty. She did and aimed straight for my crotch. So as you can imagine I couldn't stop it as my hands were either side of me and it was a pretty forceful kick and to add to that my whole family saw it and laughed . Even Amelia laughed at me" I explained.
