#114- Halloween

Today was Halloween and me, Niall, our 4 year old son Ethan and our 10 month old daughter, Aaliyah are all going to Mauras Halloween party that she does every year.
Me and Niall were dressed up as vampires, Ethan was dressed as Woody from toy story and Aaliyah was dressed as little red riding hood.

Niall and I both took a picture of the kids dressed up and Niall decided to post them on twitter.

"Come on my little monsters! Let's go to grandmas!" I said enthusiastically as Niall set the pram up for Aaliyah.
She was only 10 months old so she obviously can't walk but she can stand up for a few seconds. She usually just crawls around.
Niall picked Aaliyah up and put her in her pram, fastening her in.

"You excited to see Theo buddy?" Niall asked our son as we left the house. Niall was pushing the pram and I was holding Ethan's hand while walking alongside of him.
"Yeah! What's he dressed up as?" Ethan asked.
"I'm not sure yet" Niall said.

Niall's POV

We walked through the door of my mums house. I took Aaliyah out of the pram and held her on my hip and I put her pram in the hallway. There were already quite a few people here so we went to find my mum.

"Mum!" I said happily as I hugged her while still holding Aaliyah .
"Maura! It's so nice to see you" y/n said hugging my mum.
"You too, the kids look so cute" She said.
"And what are you dressed up as little Mr?" My mum asked Ethan tickling his tummy slightly making him giggle.
"I'm woody from toy story!" He said.
"Oh is that so? Theo's over there love" my mum said kissing his cheek and pointing to Theo. Ethan then ran off to play with Theo .

"And what my favourite granddaughter dressed up as!" My mum said enthusiastically, taking Aaliyah from me.
"Maura, she's your only granddaughter" y/n chuckled.
"I know that's why she's my favourite" My mum said and I chuckled.
"She looks so cute , the little red riding hood costumes lovely" My mum said.
"Where did you get all the costumes from?" My mum asked.
"Ethan's costume was a present he got for his birthday from Liam" I told my mum and she nodded.
"Our costumes" y/n said gesturing to me and her. "We got them online and Aaliyah's was from this baby clothes shop. They had Halloween costumes in when we went so we got her it rather than finding somewhere else" y/n explained.
"Well you've certainly got the right costume for her first Halloween" My mum said and we agreed.

My mum left to go talk to the other guests and y/n went to denise is I was sat down talking to Greg, Aaliyah on his lap.

"Is Ethan with Theo?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm not sure where they went though" I told him.

Aaliyah started whining so Greg put her some so she could crawl around.
Y/n had gone to sit outside with Denise and my mum.

"You alright lads?" My Dad said sitting with me and Greg.
"We're great!" I said.
"Love the costume Dad" Greg teased. He was dressed up as Mickey Mouse.
"Well someone's gotta entertain my grandkids! Speaking of which where are they?" He said.
"Theo and Ethan are together somewhere and Aaliyah's crawling around" I said.
Once I finished I heard a loud scream followed by a cry which I recognised as my daughters.

I jumped up and ran to her where she was sat up crying.
"Aww baby, c'mere" I cooed as I picked her up.

I went back to my dad and Greg and sat back down with my crying baby on my lap.
"What has she done?" My Dad asked.
"I'm not sure I think she's just banged her head" I said as I bounced her on my lap to call her down.

"Daddy! Why's baby crying?" Ethan asked as he and Theo ran to us.
"She only banged her head, she's fine" Greg told him.
"Why she crying then?" He asked.
"Baby's cry over lots of things because they can't talk or walk" My Dad told him.

"Daddy can I have a baby brother?" Theo asked Greg and we laughed.
"Trust me Theo, you don't want a baby brother" Greg told him laughing.
"Why?" Theo asked.
"Because their mean and they'll steal all of your things and all the attention because they're a baby" Greg told him.
"How do you know Daddy? You don't have a baby brother" he said.
"I do" Greg told him.
"You do? Who?" Theo asked and me and my dad laughed.
"Uncle Niall" Greg told Theo.
"But Uncle Nialler isn't a baby" Theo said.
"I know but he's my little brother which is the same as a baby brother" Greg said.
"So did NiNi take all your toys and steal all of Grandma and grandpas attention?" Theo asked.
"That's exactly what he did" Greg said and I laughed.
"What about a baby sister? What's it like having one of them?" He asked.
"I don't know, I don't have a sister" Greg said.
"You don't? What about auntie y/n? She's my auntie so is she your sister like uncle Niall is your brother so he's my uncle?" Theo asked confused.
My dad and I tried not to laugh.
"No!" Greg laughed.
"Auntie y/n is my sister in law, not my real sister" Greg said.
"What's that mean?" Theo asked.
"Because Uncle NiNi And y/n are married she's my sister in law"  Greg said.
"Ask Ethan, he knows what it's like to have a baby sister" Greg added.
Theo turned to Ethan.
"What's it like to have a baby sister?"
"It's good, Because She doesn't take my toys because has her own girl toys but she always cries which is annoying" Ethan told Theo.
"I don't want a baby brother or sister anymore"
