#86 He is cheating

Your POV

I came home with my two oldest children , 13 year old Amelia and 8 year old Ethan. Niall was at home looking after our 2 year old daughter, Aaliyah

"What did you do with daddy sweetie?" I asked her as Ethan went upstairs and Amelia sat down.
"Nothing, I just watched cartoons" she said.
"Why? Were was daddy?" I asked.
"Daddy went upstairs with this woman and told me to not disturb them so I didn't but it was scary because it sounded like daddy was hurting her but then they came back down and the woman went" she said completely oblivious to what Niall had done.

I gasped as well as Amelia.
"What you all surprised about?" Niall asked strolling into the room.
"I think you know Niall" I said coldly.

He looked confused.
"Seriously? First you go and do that but  the fact that you was supposed to be looking after our daughter while doing that! I know she's young Niall, but she isn't stupid, and anything could've happened to her why you were upstairs having some fun even though you have a wife and 3 children!" I yelled.

Niall's face paled as he realised he had been caught.
He glanced between mine and Amelia's cold glares and then to Aaliyah's little innocent face. She had no idea what he was doing while she was left unattended.

"Let me explain" Niall said.
"Explain what Niall! That you cheated on me! In our own bed ! When you was supposed to be looking after our daughter!" I shouted.
"Can you shut up for a minute!" He shouted as Ethan came back into the room.
Amelia rushed to Ethan.
"Go upstairs with Aaliyah, I'll stay with my mum, Aaliyah doesn't need to head this" she whispered to him and he nodded taking Aaliyah out the room.

"Shut up? Me? I think you're the one that needs to shut up! Stop making stupid excuses is up! You did this! And you weren't drunk because you wasn't when I left and you never drink around Aaliyah! You can't say 'oh she came Onto me' because this happened in our house Niall and you had every intention of doing it!" I shouted.
"Shut the fuck up y/n! I sometimes do wonder why I even fucking married you in the first place! All you seem to do is have a go at me! " He yelled and tears spring to my eyes.
We've said some pretty horrible things to each other in the past but we've never said we regretted marrying the other.

"Dad! Get a grip! You're lucky to even have mum! And she's obviously going to have a go at you if you've cheated! You always tell Ethan to be a gentlemen and respect women! What a great role model to him you are, I see these articles online about dads that leave their kids to go do things with other women and I never thought you would turn out to be one of those dads! You're pathetic and you need to look at what right in front of you and realise how lucky you are to have her!" Amelia yelled.
I've seen Amelia angry many times but I've never seen her that angry, especially at Niall. They're usually joined at the hip.
"Shut up Amelia, this has nothing to do with you" He said.
She glared at him.
"No, I won't shut up! Not until you truly apologise for what you've done, explain why you've done it and realise how lucky you are to have mum! I'm surprised she's even stayed with you this long!" She yelled angrily.
"Amelia Rose Horan!" Niall yelled.
"Shut up! I will sort this with your mum! I don't need little kids that think they have a say in things interfering! This is my house which means my rules!" Niall yelled at her.
"So that means you can go cheat" she mumbled and Niall definitely heard but before he could say anything I cut in.
"Don't yell at her! She's standing up for me because I have a husband that would rather go and cheat and leave my toddler unattended. And she certainly isn't a little kid! She definitely understand respect a lot more than you do Niall." I shouted.

"But seriously , nothing could've hurt me as much as this? All those years together meant practically nothing to you? You're not the person I thought would cheat" I sobbed.
"Amelia, can you go upstairs please? I'll come talk to you later" Niall asked and Amelia nodded leaving the room.

Niall engulfed me in his arms. I fought back at first but eventually relaxed and cried into his chest.

"I'm so sorry princess, I-I don't know why I did it. I promise it only happened the once and it won't happen again-b-but I'll not forgive myself for hurting you and leaving Aaliyah on her own" he said beginning to cry himself.

"Promise it only happened the once?" I whispered.
"I promise, I love you so much and what Amelia said has made me realise how lucky I am to have my 3 girls and my little lad" he said.
"Speaking of which, go apologise to Amelia for shouting at her" I said.

Niall's POV

I was sat on Amelia's bed, leant against the head board with her cuddled up to my side.

"I'm sorry princess" I said.
"I was angry, so I took it out on you, but you made me realise just how lucky I am to have you, Aaliyah, Ethan and your mum" I added.
"You and mum aren't going to get a divorce are you? And you're not going to do it again" she asked.
I shook my head.
"I wouldn't dream of divorcing your mum, she's too special and I will never cheat again. I don't even know why I did it to be honest, I don't really have and excuse" I admitted.
"But I'm still sorry for it, I'll probably be apologising to your mum for the rest of my life" I said and Amelia giggled.
"I love you Amelia" I said.
"I love you too Dad"
