#134 Girl talk

Me and my oldest child, my 14 year old daughter , Aaliyah, have made a weekly girl talk. Every Friday night we will sit in her room on her bed with snacks and talk about girl stuff while Niall usually spends time with our 6 year old son , Ethan and our 1 year old daughter, Amelia.

"So What snacks this week?" I asked my daughter as we looked through the kitchen cupboards.

"Hmm" she thought.
"Do you think Dad would mind if we took his chocolate cake?" She asked.
"If I take it he will, if you take it he won't" I told her and she smirked taking the cake.
It's true, if I had no say in things, Niall would let her get away with everything, even murder.

We both had our plates of cake with the rest of it in the middle of the bed.

"So anything new on Jayden?" I asked her smirking.
Jayden was her crush at school. She's liked him for a while and we suspect he likes her back.

"Well, hes given me some nicknames which are Lia and Little Direction because I told him about Dad Bering in a band when he was younger" she explained.
"Ooh! He must like you!" I said.
"And, we have new seats in English, we are sat in twos and in sat with him and he always kicks my feet" I said.
"Classic teenage flirting!"

The door then burst open.
"Which one of you stole my cake?" He asked.
"I will kill you if you have" He said Looking at me.
"I did, we needed some snacks and we wanted cake so we took it" Aaliyah said.
"It's fine princess, but stop talking about boys!" Niall said as he left.
I looked at Aaliyah and she smiled.

I walked downstairs , Niall was in the kitchen and Ethan and Amelia were in the living room.

"You're so soft with Aaliyah" I laughed and he shrugged.
"Is it because she's your little princess?" I asked in a baby voice, pinching his cheeks.
He smiled slightly, his cheeks reddening.
"Shes such a daddy's girl and a massive softie like you, always up for food and cuddling" I chuckled.
He shrugged.
"What can I say? I'm just a very cuddly person" he said.
