#82 Out in LA

Niall's POV

Y/n was on a 2 week business trip in Spain so I have flown to LA with our 2 year old daughter since I have a few interviews over here .
We will be staying here for two weeks and going home the day y/n goes home.

"Daddy!" Amelia yelled running through my Los Angeles house.
"What is it princess?" I asked, worried she'd hurt herself.

"What are we doing today?" She asked.
"We can go on a walk and do some shopping then we have to go to an interview on the Ellen show" I told her and picked her up.

I took her upstairs into her room.
"What do you want to wear baby?" I asked.
"A dwess" She said cutely.
"Okay, how about this one?" I asked holding up her turquoise dress that had a white bow around the waist.
She nodded.
"Pull up or underwear?" I asked.
"Underwear because I'm a big girl!" She said and I chuckled getting her some underwear out.
I also got out some little white sandals for.

"I'll let you wear underwear f you promise me you won't have any accidents" I said.
"I promise daddy" she said wrapping her pinky around mine.
"If you need the toilet you have to tell me" I told her as I got her dressed.

"How do you want your hair?" I asked.
"Just down" She said.
I brushed her dark brown hair that she inherited from me. Her hair was slightly wavy.

"Let's go, pram or walk?" I asked.
"Walk and hold hands" she said.

We were walking through the streets of LA and Amelia was holding my hand.

Amelia suddenly squeezed my hand, holding it very tightly.
I glanced down at her and she looked scared.
"Hey, Hey, princess, what's wrong?" I asked bending down in front of her. I didn't really care that we were in the middle of the path.
Tears escaped her blue eyes that she also got from me.
"People taking pictures and the flash hurt my eyes" she muttered as more tears escaped her eyes.
I knew the paps would take pictures , like they are right now.
"It's okay baby girl, I won't let them hurt you" I said as I stood up and picked her up , holding her on my hip.

"And our next guest are Niall and Amelia Horan!" Ellen said and I walked out on stage holding Amelia's hand.

We sat on the sofa and Amelia crawled onto my lap and made herself comfortable.

"She's so cute!" Ellen said and I smiled agreeing.

"So the first question is, If Amelia was a boy what would her name be?" Ellen asked.
"That's a good question, that" I said before thinking back to when y/n was pregnant.
"I think it would've been Liam or Ethan and the middle name would have been James" I explained.

"Right okay so now we are going to have Amelia play a game!" Ellen said excitedly.
"A picture of someone will come up on the big screen and you have 5 seconds to press the buzzer. If you know who it is you press the buzzer and tell us who it is" Ellen explained to Amelia who nodded.

We all stood up and I picked Amelia up, holding her on my hip.

We went over to where the game was set up.
I stood behind the panel where the buzzer was with Amelia as Ellen stood on the other side.

An old picture of Louis appeared on screen, a picture from around 2012.
She looked confused before she hit the buzzer.
"Uncwe Lou Lou!" She yelled.
"Correct!" Ellen told her and the next picture came up which was a picture of Harry in 2015.
"Uncwe Hazzy Bear!" She said using his nickname she made up.
"Lovely nickname" Ellen said.

The next picture came up and it was of me on stage in 2014. So I had blonde hair and was wearing a flannel with my black and white electric guitar.

She pressed the buzzer instantly.
She had to lean a little to press the buzzer silence she was in my arms but if she was on the floor she wouldn't be able to reach.
"That's Daddy!" She screamed and the audience laughed.
Ellen nodded.
"Okay, 3 More" Ellen said.

The next photo was of y/n when she was nearing the end of her pregnancy, when she was pregnant with Amelia.
Amelia pressed the buzzer.

"That's mummy when I was in her tummy! Daddy showed me this photo before!" She yelled.
"That's correct!" Ellen said.
"You're really good at this game princess" I said.

The next photo was of Liam in 2017.
Amelia pressed the buzzer instantly.
"That Uncwe LiLi!" She said and Ellen nodded.

The last photo came on screen and it was a photo of me,y/n and Amelia.
It was when we went to the brits last year, Amelia was only 6 months old and in the photo I was holding her with one arm and had the other arm around y/n's waist.

Amelia pressed her buzzer.
"That's mummy and daddy and daddy's holding me when I was a little tiny baby!" She said.
"You got them all correct!" Ellen said and Amelia clapped her hands cutely.
