#186 When toddlers try to be teens

Our 3 year old daughter, Isla, was upstairs in her bedroom while Niall and I were in the living room watching tv. I had my head on his shoulder.

"What do you think she's doing?" I asked.
"Probably playing with her dolls" Niall said and I agreed.
"I'm so bored, but I can't be bothered doing anything!" Niall complained.
"Why don't you dress up as a princess and play dolls with Isla?" I teased.
He rolled his eyes playfully.
"I am not even going to try and get into one of her princess dresses again! I'm 24, she's 3, So I'd probably rip it" Niall said.
"We should get you some man sized princess dresses" I said and he glared at me.
"You probably won't fit in the man sized ones though" I teased.
"Shut it" He said playfully throwing a pillow at my head.
"Now you've become an abusive boyfriend" I joked.
He tackled me, pulling me into his arms.
"I'm far from abusive" he defended playfully, joining in on the joke.
"That's true, you're just a very cuddly person that always wants his hair played with and always wants to cuddle" I said and he laughed.

"Well, what do we have here?" Louis questioned entering the room with a smirk.
"They're making more babies!" Harry screamed making us laugh.
"Where's little Horan?" Liam asked.
"I'm here!" She screamed running down the stairs and into the living room making us laugh.
She was exactly like Niall.
Carefree, Loud but sometimes quiet and she looked exactly like him too. Living with basically 2 Nialls wasn't the best when I have a headache.

We noticed that Isla had makeup on.

"Isla, what's on your face and your nails?" Niall asked.
"Beauty and nail varnish" she said sassily making us all laugh.
"Why are you wearing makeup?" Niall asked.
"Because I want to daddy" she said .
"I've taught her well!" Louis said.
"Why do you want to wear makeup? You have eye shadow , mascara, eye liner, blusher and lipstick on" Niall said.
"Actually daddy, I don't have lipstick on, it's lip gloss" she said and Niall raised his eyebrows, trying not to laugh.
I could see Liam dying of laughter behind Harry.
"But you're too young for makeup" Niall said.
"No no no, I'm 3 daddy which means I'm a big girl so I can wear makeup, I don't need to ask you or mummy" she said.
"If you're a big girl then, I guess it's time to get rid of all your dolls and princess dresses" Niall said smirking.
"No!" She screamed.
"I'm not a big girl! I'm a little girl!" She said.
"Well then , since you're a little girl, let's go take all that makeup of your face" Niall said picking her up.
She folded her arms and outed as he took her upstairs to wipe the makeup off.

As soon as she was out of sight the boys and I burst out laughing.
"She spends too much time with you" I said to Louis.

Niall and Isla came back downstairs. Niall day next to me and Isla sat on the other sofa.
She crossed her arms and glared at Niall.

Niall noticed and stood up.
He quickly ran to Isla and started to tickle her making her erupt in a fit of giggles.
"S-stop! Da-daddy" she giggled.
"Only if you say, I'm the best daddy in the whole wide world and I love him very much" Niall said.
"Y-youre the best d-daddy in the whole wide world and I- I l-love you v-very much" She said between giggles.
Niall stopped tickling her and picked her up.
"I love you too princess" he said kissing her cheek.

@NiallOfficial: My daughter is 3 and seems to think she's 13. She put y/n's makeup on and then acted incredibly sassy about it. I blame @Louis_Tomlinson. "Actually Daddy, I don't have lipstick on, it's lip gloss" 😂😂
