Taehyung groaned as he heard a knock on his apartment door. He hauled himself off his bed to go and tell the intruder (presumably Jin) to kindly fuck off.

He flung open the door in annoyance.

"Jin I swear to god I'm not a child, I can look after myse-" He froze as his eyes met with said intruders, and it was definitely not Jin.

"Taehyung..." Hoseok said softly, almost cautious in case his words might break the frail looking boy in front of him. "Hey."

"Hyung." Taehyung responded bluntly, seemingly frozen under Hoseok's gaze.

Hoseok frowned. "Tae, we're past the formal talk."

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked accusingly, avoiding eye contact with Hoseok. "How did you even know where I live?"

"Jin told me..." Hoseok started in a quiet voice. "Look tae- I've been trying to call you and I've been texting you like crazy this last week. I didn't know what else to do but come see you."

"Why are you here?" Taehyung questioned hesitantly, worried that Hoseok had come all this way just to tell him off for his mistake. "To tell me how bad I am for what I did?"

"No- more like to tell you how bad I am. Look, We need to talk, Taehyung." Hoseok sighed. "We can't just leave things how they are- and I don't want to either. I miss you.. I miss us."

"What is there to talk about?" Taehyung said bitterly, glaring at the floor instead of making eye contact. He could already feel the tears welling up in his eyes and he willed himself not to cry. He didn't want hoseok to think even worse of him. "I messed up and now I've ruined everything. You hate me and I hate myself. There's nothing more to say."

Hoseok sighed again, wanting nothing more than to cross the room and just hold Taehyung. "Don't be like that.. Can't we just sit down and talk this through? I don't hate you and you shouldn't hate yourself either, what you did wasn't even comparable to what I did to you."

Taehyung thought about it for a minute.

"...alright." He mumbled reluctantly.

He stepped back to allow Hoseok into his apartment.

"I brought some food, Jin told me that you've been living off chapagetti." Hoseok said, setting the bag down on the counter.

He took the liberty of setting up Taehyung's coffee table with the food, and although, Taehyung was sick to his stomach with anxiety, he couldnt deny that he was thankful for a warm, cooked meal. Hoseok, sensing that Taehyung might not want to be watched as he ate, busied himself by making them both some tea.

By the time he had carefully carried the two mugs back over to the sitting area, Taehyung had pretty much demolished the bowl of bibimbap he had brought to give the younger some much needed, nourishment.

There was a bit of awkward silence as Hoseok handed him the mug before getting comfortable on the couch, leaving a nice bit of space between them.

Taehyung sipped his tea awkwardly as he waited for Hoseok to speak up first. He didn't know how to feel, of course he was mad at Hoseok; he felt humiliated and used whenever he thought back on that awful night, but any of those feelings were overshadowed by the overwhelming sense of shame and self hatred that he felt knowing that he had almost slept with Yoongi.
