Taehyung was lying leisurely in the bath, watching a drama called 'good morning call' when his phone rang.

He hastily dried his hand before he reached for the device to check who was calling.

After seeing who it was he answered, hesitantly holding the phone up to his ear with a vice like grip, terrified that he might drop it into the sudsy water- he had only received it a few weeks beforehand and he didn't think Hoseok would appreciate having to replace it so soon.

"Hello?" He called into the phone.

"Hey, baby," Hoseok's voice bled through his phones speakers. "Your apartment is number 304 right? I knocked but no one answered and it would be really awkward if I was at the wrong door.."

"Wait, you're here already?" Taehyung crowed, pulling the phone away from his ear to check the time which read seven forty four. "I didn't think you'd be here until half eight at the earliest."

"Well I'm here now." Hoseok replied simply. "So if you'd let me in that would be really great but it's your choice- I mean I could just stay out here."

"Don't be silly." Taehyung giggled. "I'll come let you in now, give me two minutes."

Taehyung hung up before Hoseok had a chance to reply, setting his phone down on the bathroom counter before hauling himself out of the bath. He was dripping water all over the floor but he didn't have time to care in his haste. Pulling on a bath robe, he hastily stuck a hand into the soapy water to pull the plug on the bath before he rushed out of the room, almost slipping a few times.

"Hobi~!" Taehyung cried happily as he flung open the door before throwing himself at the man standing in front of him.

The older boy was clad in very casual clothes-  a plaid scarf, a bright red sweater, a black parka jacket and simple black jeans with the knees cut out- which surprised Taehyung for a moment as it wasn't often he got to see Hoseok in casual wear. He was used to seeing his hyung in a dress shirt at the very least, if not a whole suit.

"Hey baby boy." Hoseok cooed, enveloping Taehyung in a warm hug.

"How was Busan?" Taehyung questioned eagerly, staring up at Hoseok with wide eyes.

"I'll tell you once we're inside." Hoseok offered, causing Taehyung to nod in agreement.

He pulled Hoseok into his cosy apartment before shutting the door behind them and locking it for good measure.

Hoseok glanced around the little living area, taking in all the little details. He had only been to Taehyung's apartment once before, and that time he was there for a more important reason than appreciating Taehyung's choice of couch cushion.

To his surprise, the place was very neat and tidy- a vivid contrast to taehyung's spontaneous and upbeat mentality-, the scented candles lighting in miscellaneous spots around the room adding a pleasant vanilla scent. He had shelves crammed with photo frames containing shots of him and his friends (Jin and Jimin being the centre of most of them) and upon further inspection Hoseok noticed that there were a few photos of him featured there too, some of them he didn't even remember taking.

The couch had way too many cushions and throws to be justified and Hoseok imagined that finding a space to actually sit among the masses of cushions would be a challenge.

The tiny kitchen didn't look like it was used much, the hob hadn't a single scratch on it. The counter was neatly organised, with labelled jars for tea and coffee lined up beside the kettle.

The only thing that seemed out of place in the room was the trail of water leading from the front door into the bathroom.

"Were you in the shower?" Hoseok asked, kicking off his shoes and setting them neatly next to the door. He shrugged his coat off and hung it on the frail looking rack that stood in the living room, draping his scarf on top of it.
