Robert leaned back and a tear fell on his eye.
I wiped the tear and shot him a puzzled glare.
"Why are you crying?" I asked.
"That sounds so beautiful." Robert said.
"Don't make it corny, babe." I chuckled and stopped him from tearing up.
"Do you promise that you won't play games on me?"
"I'll try."
"You have to promise me, Hayley. I'm not kidding." Robert said seriously.
"I'm not yet used to love, Robert. It's my first time."
"Do you love me or not?" Robert asked in a distinct tone.
"Of course I do!"
"Then you have to promise me."
"Okay. I promise." I said defeatedly.
"Good." Robert said and laid his head down on the pillow again.
"You have to know that even if I love you, men won't stop from getting my attention." I warned.
"I know, babe. I'm not going to let them get you from me." Robert said and put his arms around me.
"You're being dramatic."
"No, i'm being realistic." Robert said and closed his eyes.
I rolled my eyes and slept on his arms.
"Babe." I heard someone said.
"Baby." I knew who it is.
"Baby, babe, darling, sweetheart, love, honey, bunny." Robert said while shaking me.
"What?" I groaned.
"I'm bored. Wake up."
"That's not my problem."
"Why do you keep on saying that? Of course it is your problem." Robert argued.
"Five more minutes, Rob."
"No more five minutes!" Robert said and touched my neck with his finger.
"Jesus!" I said while jumping off the mattress completely awake.
Robert laughed while laying down. The covers were on his waist.
"What did I tell you about that?!" I reminded him.
He laughed and motioned me to lay down again with him.
I laid down and checked his forehead. He's getting a little better now. I saw that the time is only 2:14 in the afternoon. Snow's still outside.
"Sing for me." Robert requested while snuggling his head on my neck.
"I already did."
"Sing for me again."
I rolled my eyes defeatedly. Great, I have to sing because a sick man said so.
I got up and grabbed a guitar in my room. I walked downstairs and back to the mattress. Robert's waiting for me excitedly.
"What song?" I asked.
"Something cheesy." Robert suggested.
"Oh hell no, Rob. We've been cheesy enough." I argued.
"Oh c'mon, babe. It's snowing and you'll sing a rock song? I'm sick so I need some cheesy songs." Robert argued back.
"You just want me to dedicate another song for you." I said eyeing him.
