I sat on the swing in my skatepark when everyone went home. There's only one month left so I should call it MY skatepark often.
They towed four of my cars and I can't bear to watch them tow all of it. How can I pay billions of debt in only a month? That's bullshit. Acting is my only source of money and that's not enough.
Everything became very suspicious to me. Yeah, I admit. I've been an irresponsible CEO but it doesn't make any sense. And for the record, I became an absentee because of Robert and for Zion.
I read the newspaper that contains my face in the front page. I just read the tile because I don't even have the guts to read everything.
"The Tragic End Of Knight Industries"
Okay. How embarrassing is that. I took a rest from acting for 4 years just for the company just for this?
Robert approached the swing while carrying Zion.
"Why won't you let me pay for the other half?" Robert asked and sat on a swing next to me.
He started to swung it for Zion's entertainment. I looked at my son on Robert's lap. I feel sorry for him that he was born in my days of trouble.
"Because I don't want you to pay for my failures." I explained.
"Hayley, i'm your husband. This is my role to our family." Robert said.
Zion looks so happy while his daddy kept on swinging.
"I know, Robbie. But I don't want you to."
"I'm trying to help you. Why do you keep on pushing me away?" Robert said in a deep voice.
"I'm not pushing you away. I just... I want the best for Zion. I want him to grow in this world like a normal kid with normal parents." I explained again.
"I'm an actor, Hayley. And you're a CEO. Zion will never have a normal parents. This is who we are." Robert said and looked at me thoughtfully.
"Let me rephrase that. Former CEO." I corrected.
Robert glared and handed me Zion. I carried him.
He was sporting his cute toothless grin and smothered his tiny stomach with kisses.
"Too bad he will never experience to play in this playground anymore." I said while kissing Zion.
"He will if you'll let us pay the debts."
I rolled my eyes and groaned. I stood up with Zion on my arms.
I walked away from Robert and went inside the house.
I hugged Zion as I carried him. It was already planted in my mind that he will inherit the company when the time is right but turns out, it's not going to happen.
I went to the lab with him and I sat on my c-desk. Robert followed us.
He carried Zion and looked at me.
"Please, Hayley. Let me help you." He pleaded.
"Robert, please. I don't want you to pay everything for me!" I exclaimed.
"I am helping you because you need my help. Why are you being so hardheaded?!" Robert argued. He put Zion in his crib inside my lab.
"Because I don't want you to waste your money for me!"
"I am not wasting anything, Hayley! I'm doing this for you! Please let me help you!" Robert shouted and his eyes turned watery.
He grabbed both of my arms and looked at me.
