Handle The Heat

I felt his tongue was brushing my upper lip. I was so shocked that I don't even know what to do.

I was so scared to think about Robert. He's at his house getting ready for tomorrow while his girlfriend was kissed by the CEO of Porsche.

Adrian clutched my head and pulled me closer to him. No. This is wrong. This is so wrong. I got used to cheating on men but not to Robert. I treat him differently and I respect everything about him. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and i'm not going to let him slip away because a guy just kissed me.

I regained control of myself and pulled away. I pushed Adrian in the chest. He looks so shocked that I pulled away.

"No. There's no competition that's going to be held. I'm in a relationship and it'll stay that way. Robert is not going to compete with anybody because I know that he is better than everyone else." I bitterly said and looked at him furiously.

His face was still shocked. I'm not drunk anymore. My dosage was gone because I was so furious. Adrian didn't answer me, he looks ashamed and dumbstruck.

"Enjoy your night, Mr. Miller." I said in an authoritative voice and walked away.

I walked away furiously outside. I was breathing heavily. He knows that i'm in a relationship but he still kissed me. Why can't people accept that i'm already stable with my relationship with Robert?

I took my phone from my pocket. I was about to call Robert but I heard someone shouting my name.

"Hayley!" Adrian said. He was running towards me.

"We are not in the first name basis now!" I growled.

"Just accept the fact that you want to kiss me." Adrian confessed.

"Excuse me?" I sarcastically said. This guy is really confident, huh?

"You really want to kiss me." He repeated.

"As far as i'm concerned, you are the one who kissed me." I reminded.

"What did Robert Downey Jr did to you? You are not Hayley Knight anymore." Adrian said.

"He showed me what love really is." I said with an eloquent tone.

"You don't believe in love." Adrian said and he stepped closer to me closing the space between us.

"People's belief changes." I said and stepped backward.

Adrian stepped forward again. I was being annoyed. I should've tag Brooky along. If he was here, he'll push this guy away from me and throw him in a dumpster.

"I am better than Robert Downey Jr. We are made for each other. We're both born to be a CEO. This is what we do, what does he do? He's just an actor." Adrian said.

"Just an actor? No. He's everything for me! And don't you dare speak about him like that again!" I said.

Every time there's an argument, i'm the calm one. But this one didn't calm me down. It made me angry. He's not better than Robert.

Adrian was about to kiss me again but I stepped backward immediately.

"How desperate are you?" I said with a strong and bitter tone.

He didn't answer. He still can't believe that I rejected the kiss.

"I like Porsche but I don't like their CEO at all. You should've showed my boyfriend some respect if you want me to help you. You can forget about the partnership, Mr. Miller." I said and walked away.

"You'll regret that you chose Robert Downey Jr!" Adrian shouted.

That was hilarious for him to say. I stopped and laughed sarcastically. I turned to him slowly with a villain like glare.
