I wiped the blood on Robert's face. My handkerchief was full of his blood now. I folded it and put it inside my blazer pocket.
My Chief Operating Officers, Clark rushed inside my office.
"What happened? I was in section 2 and I heard that someone barged in." Clark said worriedly.
The first sight that he saw was Robert seating on my chair with a bloody face and broken nose.
"I haven't introduce you to him yet." I said to Robert.
Robert looked at Clark and smiled. I can't believe that he still manages to smile after that broken nose and broken lip.
"Robbie, this is my COO, Clark Dixon." I introduced.
Robert and Clark shook hands.
"What happened?" Clark asked while looking at Robert's nose.
"It was Adrian Miller. He's still desperate for the partnership." I said.
"Don't accept that deal, Stark. If he can't respect this company, then he doesn't deserve our aid." Clark said seriously.
"Course I won't." I said putting the papers away from my desk.
"I'll take him home." I suggested.
I walked to Robert and he stood up. I gave him another handkerchief because the blood was starting to drip again.
I grabbed my car key that was on my desk and stacked the portfolios.
"You're in charge." I said to Clark. He nodded.
Robert and I went outside and my people gave us worried and concerned looks.
"Everything is being sorted out." I addressed in order for them to calm down.
I pulled Robert to the elevator. When the door closed, I looked at him.
"Don't ever do that again, alright? I warned seriously.
"I can't promise you that." Robert said while wiping his nose.
"I'm serious, Robert." I said.
"I'm serious too." He said.
The elevator opened and we made our way to where my car is parked. We went inside the car and I drove back to my house.
"Don't let your blood drip on the seats." I ordered while driving.
"Are you mad?" Robert asked with a puppy dog eyes.
"Kinda." I said without looking at him.
"I don't want someone to disrespect you so I did that." Robert explained and held my driving-free hand.
"I understand that, babe. But look what you got yourself into." I said.
"It doesn't matter." He said and kissed the back of my hand.
"Ew. You have busted lips and you kissed my hand!" I said pulling my hand away.
"So?" He said grabbing my hand again.
"No kisses starting from now on, Robbie." I said.
"What?!" He shouted.
"You have busted lips." I said while chuckling.
"This doesn't mean that i'm not allowed to kiss you!" He argued.
I chuckled while driving. We reached the mountain but Robert's still arguing with the no kisses rule. But I know he'll still kiss me with that bleeding lip.
