The next day rolled by and I had decided to surprise Jun by taking him to my favorite place in the world. I plan to take him there two more times just so he can see why it's my absolute favorite place in the world.
But on the way out, I realised that I didn't have my boots. "Jun! Where's my boots?" He didn't respond and I stopped looking for them. "Jun?" I turned around and saw his expression.
"You wore them you the party at Hoseok's.." I immediately began to groan. "But I could've sworn that you wore them on the way back to the house!"
"Well, I didn't Jun. UGH! Why does this always happen to me?" I whined. "You know what.. Just get in the car, okay? Everything will be fine." I said as I walked out the door. Jun followed.I stopped the car in front of his house and sighed. "I'll go in alone. If I'm not out in ten minutes, come and get me."
"You make this sound like a war zone." I smiled before getting out. I hesitated on knocking, but I found I didn't need to when the door opened.I quickly put my hand down with head. "I uh.. Forgot my boots.."
"Come in." He said, opening the door wider. I opened the closet to reveal my boots. Sitting down on the staircase, I began changing into my boots when Hoseok began. "Leona.. I.. About yesterday-."
"There's no need to talk about it. That's all your business. Not mine."
"Leona, wait. You don't understand."
"I think I understand a relationship that involves kissing of the cheek and nibbling of the ear."
"Leona.."
"Stop. Don't even. And it's fine. I'm totally fine with you dating her, but what I'm not fine with is you lying to me."
"Leona, please trust me when I say that it's not a lie!"
"So then what is she? Some sort of fling?"
"No. You see, last night Mira heard me talking about what happened and wanted to make you jealous because she thought that you had only brought Jun to make me jealous. When she saw you, I didn't know what she was planning to do. I'm sorry."I soon heard footsteps coming from up the stairs.. It was her.. "Hoseok, I really.." She paused once she saw me. "Hoseok, baby. I really need you to help me find my keys to the car." She said as she clung into his body by the neck.
"Stop it Mira. The jig is up. She knows." He said but I had already found a new fuel of fury. Her eyes locked on mine as she nodded before nuzzling her face in the crook of his neck.
"Well good! Let me talk to her for a bit while you search for the keys. Okay?" She patted him on the shoulder twice before pushing him out the way and turning her attention to me."My, my. How much more gorgeous you are in person. He's told me all about you."
"Too bad I can't say the same." I said.
"Well, in time, hopefully before the wedding, you will!" My eyes widened.
"Wedding?"
"Yes. He didn't tell you?" My eyes diverted their attention to her hand. There sat a ring, mocking me in the face. I nodded. So you wanna play this game? I thought to myself.
"No, I'm afraid not. When is it?"
"April fifth." I felt the tears coming into my eyes as I heard the car honk the horn but that couldn't snap me out of it..That bastard! He even made it on my dad's birthday! Just like I wanted!
"What time and where?" I proceeded to ask.
"Well, if you'd like, I'll give you an invitation when I get them."
"Sure! That would be great!" Horrible.. It would be absolutely horrible..
"Of course! Just give me your contact information and I'll send you one!" She smiled. I nodded as I wrote it down for her.KNOCK KNOCK
KNOCK KNOCK"Ah. Well, I better get going now." I smiled as I wiped the tears starting to form in my eyes.
"Yes. It was nice talking to you! Drive safe!"
"Thanks! I will!"▪Hoseok▪
When I heard the door close, I then began to question Mira. "So, what happened?"
"Ah, nothing really. I told her about my engagement to Sehun."
"That's nice. Did she ask to come?"
"Yes, she did, actually. I told her that if she left her info, I'd mail it to her once I got the cards." I nodded. But I still felt uneasy.
"Did you mention who you were getting married to by name?"
"No."
"Did she think you were talking about me?"
"She didn't seem like it." My heart began to beat rapidly.
"Mira.. How exactly did you say all this to her?"
"I asked her if you told her about the wedding."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah."
"Just like that? Oh dear God! Mir!"
"What?"
"Do you know what I told her? I told her you're not a fling or a girlfriend! And now she's going to believe that you're not either of those because you're my fiancé!" I couldn't help but to raise my voice. I was so deep in the mud right now. How could I ever get her back now?""Well.. You know that she is still in love with you if she's coming to the wedding. She's just torturing herself. But hey. Now you have another in."
"What do you mean, another in?! Are you out of your mind!?"
"Listen Hoseok. Calm down. Sit.." She patted the seat next to her. "She doesn't seem to be like the type of girl who can see what she has right off the bat, so.."
"So what?"
"So.. I'll talk it over with Sehun and see if he's okay with a decoy and double wedding."
"What do you mean?"•Leona•
When I opened up the door, I stormed past Jun and immediately began to bawl in the car. "Please just take me home. Please." I begged. Pretty soon, we were back to doing what we did yesterday. But he was cuddling me as I cried now.
"Jung Hoseok.. Is he an old boyfriend or something?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yes."
"I see. Well.. Let's not go see him anymore. For your sake. I don't want him hurting you anymore ever again." I nodded.
"Okay.. But I told Mira that I'd go to their wedding. It's really shocking because he says that he'll never get over me and all the stuff like that, yet he wants me to be with him again and now drops a bomb like this on me!" Jun shushed me and just continued to comfort me.
