"You can just ask me to have a vacation with you. You don't have to tell all of this."

I rolled my eyes. Binaba ko ang iniinom kong cocktail at tiningnan ang mga taong sumasayaw.

"I am complaining Deo."

"Yeah complaining for how many people care for you. Great job."

He sarcastically said. I look at him lazily and I tilted my head. Tinaasan ako nito ng kilay bago tumingin sa mga tao. Napailing ako ng may maalala akong kaugali niya. Tumingin ulit ako sa mga tao. People are getting wild while being drown by the music.

"Can't you just mind your own business?"

"You're talking about business when you obviously ruined MY business a few hours ago."

"You mean sleeping is your business now?"

"Obviously!"

I snorted. Ohwww sleeping beauty getting grumpy.

"A lot of people cared for you but here you are calling someone that clearly doesn't even care-"

"But you came."

Nabilaukan ito sa sinabi ko. Natawa ako sa reaksyon niya. He look so defensive.

"Excuse me! I still want to live! If I didn't come you will probably ask your brother and your brother will wake me the hell up and will start fckn my day!"

Napailing ako sa sinabi niya. Hindi lang pala ako ang kinukulit ng kapatid ko.

"You know what if I didn't know that you are lonely I probably think you love me."

Napataas ang kilay ko dahil sa sinabi niya bago tumawa ng malakas.

"Yeah it's funny. But if you think about it. I'm the only person that you always call for help and every time you needed accompany."

Nagkibit ako ng balikat at tiningnan siya.

"Will you love me too?"

Sabi ko na nagpatigil sa kanya. Deo is actually a very nice guy. He is very impatient but he is nice. Hindi nga lang halata.

"You know what you just want to hang out with me because I am similar to someone you wanted to see-"

"You can't even take a simple joke. Goodness sake Deo!"

"Then for goodness sake Lily! Stop joking!"

He sarcastically said while imitating me. Damn him. Namemersonal siya kapag nagjojoke ako! Tumahimik kaming dalawa. I drank my cocktail and ask for another beverage.

"If I didn't arrived that day i'm probably sleeping today."

My jaw clenched. Nilagok ko ang inorder kung inumin bago siya tiningnan.

"So? Should I say thank you for saving me?"

"Ofcourse! And please don't forget to say sorry for drenching my favorite shirt. Thank you very much for turning it red instead of white."

I know this is not funny but the way he's telling it, it sounded like a joke. I smiled a little while remembering it. If my brother's here, he already gon berserk in just a matter of second.

"It's really traumatic you know? If you really saw how Boss gon wild that time. He really thought he's going to lose you too."

Nilagay ko sa aking likod ang mga kamay ko at tumawa ng konti. Naiimagine ko kasi ang itsura ng kapatid ko.

"I'm sorry. I'm not really in my right mind four years ago."

I give a soft laughed bago huminga ng malalim. Nagulat ako ng hinawakan ako bigla ni Deo. Ngumiti ito sa akin kaya nginitian ko rin siya. I was caught off guard when I saw him.

"Lily?"

Tumayo ako mula sa pagkakaupo. I can feel the ground shaking. Lumapit ako sa kanya at hinawakan ang mukha niya. My eyes are getting blurred because of my tears coming out.

"Yoon-gi please."

"Lily?!!"

Napakurap ako ng makita si Deo sa harapan ko at niyuyugyog ako. Agad akong napaatras at napahawak sa aking noo. Oh god! My head is spinning.

"Lily you're already drunk! Let me take you home!"

Okay i'm drunk. I'm drunk! I'm sorry Deo! Napapikit ako.

"No need to Deo. I can still drive."

Pagkatapos kung sabihin yun ay tumalikod na ako at lumabas na ng bar. Pumasok ako sa sasakyan ko at pinaandar ito. Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa manubela at pinaharurot ang sasakyan.

"Boss!"

Napatingin ako ng binigay ng tauhan ng kapatid ko ang cellphone niya. Kumunot ang noo ko ng makita siyang gulat. Namumula ang mukha niya. Tumingin ito sa akin bago tumalikod at nagpatuloy sa pagsasalita sa cellphone niya.

"Flight to ..........."

Tahimik kaming sumakay sa eroplano. Nagising ako ng makitang wala sa tabi ko ang kapatid ko. The seat beside me was empty kaya tumayo ako tumingin sa paligid. Wala din yung dalawang tauhan niya. The rest of the passengers are asleep.

"Nasaan ba sila?"

Lumabas ako sa pwesto namin. I saw a dim light inside the little room. Kakatukin ko baka nandoon yung kapatid ko.

"He didn't even wait for us to arrive."

I was about to knock when I heard my brother's cracking voice while speaking. Is he crying?

"Boss this is not your fault. We can't convinced your sister earlier-"

"Seriously Simon this is no ones fault. His sister clearly doesn't know a thing about their father."

Napatakip ako sa narinig ko. Bigla akong kinabahan sa pinag uusapan nila. What is going on?

"Deo you should shut up! I'm clearly not pointing a finger at her."

"It's my fault for not telling her earlier. If I tell her about father's situation we can go and see him earlier as we thought."

Napa iyak ako bigla. I wished I am thinking wrong.

"We can still probably see our father alive."

"It's your father's deci-"

Tulala akong napaupo sa sahig sa narinig ko. Biglang bumukas ang pintuan sa harapan ko.

"Liliane?"

Naramdaman ko ang malamig na tubig nang dumapo ito sa aking mukha. Ang nagsisilbing ilaw lamang sa aking banyo ay ang ilaw sa labas. Tiningnan ko ang sarili ko sa salamin.

"I should never left here from the first place."

Napatingin ako sa bath tub. Umiling ako at isinantabi ang iniisip ko. Everyone know I done wrong. I look at my wrist bago tumingin ulit sa salamin. Everything are just so messed up that time. Tumayo ako ng maayos bago lumabas ng bathroom.
