"You're..still ahmm not... done?"

"Yes."

Nakakunot noong nakatingin sa akin si Mr. William. Tinikom ko ang bibig ko at tumingin ng maayos.

"I'll probably talked to you later."

Sabi ko at nagmadaling tumalikod. I didn't even give them a glance. They won't remember me anyway. Inayos ko ang maiksi kong buhok. Pumasok ako doon na magulo ang buhok. Napatingin ako sa repleksyon ko sa isang salamin na wall. My perm short hair kinda make it look messy. Argh they don't care anyway.

"Miss Lily!"

Napatigil ako sa paglalakad at nakitang sumusunod si Mr. William.

"What's the sudden visit?"

Sabi nito. Huminga ako ng malalim at tiningnan siya ng maayos.

"The deal is off."

Gulat itong tumingin sa akin at bahagyang natawa. Pero nang makita akong hindi tumawa ay napaubo ito.

"You can't do this. Yes I didn't consolt you about this but didn't Eddie tell you?"

"Eddie didn't report this to me."

Niluwagan niya ang necktie niya. Oh Mr. William I may convince you to trust me about this collaboration for days but I'm ready to drop anything just to avoid them!

"Okay look Miss Lily! We have been discussing our target for this collaboration. I know you don't trust any artist except it came from you but now trust me. Trust me. This collaboration will be above our target because of them."

Napalunok ako sa sinabi niya. That is true. But that is not my problem.

"Miss Lily think about the people who work under you. If we let this good opportunity go. Thousand under us will starve."

He comb his hair using his hands. He look so frustrated. Bigla kong naisip si Eddie. Kaya pala ganun nalang ang mukha niya. Para akong binuhusan ng isang malamig na tubig. Napapikit ako. Ang selfish ko grabe! Bakit ngayon ko lang naisip ang mga taong nagtatrabaho para sa akin.

"Wait! Is this about the date? I'm telling you it's just a joke."

Sabi nito bigla. Hinilot ko ang bridge ng ilong ko bago tumingin sa kanya.

"I know that. It's just that Mr. William i-i can't work with them."

Humina ang boses ko. Tangna! Ano idadahilan ko? Sasabihin ko bang 'Mr. William I can't work with them because one of them is my ex and we have a really really bad history." Ganun? Tanga lang! Kumunot ang noo niya habang nakatingin sa akin.

"Miss Lily. This is give and take. We are giving them exposure and they are giving us our target. This is business Miss Lily."

Napatango ako sa sinabi niya. This is business Lily. You should know that. Remember the people who work under you. I closed my eyes before I nod.

"Good. I'm sorry if I can't properly discussed this in a room. I need you to trust me in this."

"Okay."

"Even though I've seen your efforts for days and I admired you for that but I'm totally disappointed of you right now Miss Lily."

Nagulat ako ng konti sa sinabi niya. It is true. I am disappointing. I'm shameful and disappointing. I'm also disappointed of myself. Nagdedisisyon ako basta-basta at hindi nag iisip.

"I'm sorry."

"Excuse me do we have a problem?"

Napatingin ako sa babaeng magsalita. She's probably Bangtan's manager. Sa likod niya ay si Namjoon. He was looking at me.

"I have to go Mr. William."

Tumango si Mr. William. Tumalikod ako at pumasok sa elevator. When the elevator is about to close I saw Yoongi who went to Namjoon. He said something that made Namjoon pointed the elevator. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng tumingin ito sa akin and after that the door is close. Napabuga ako ng hangin. Kinabahan ako doon.

"You're a real stupid Lily. Who's in the right mind that will barged inside the CEO's office? God! That is so embarrassing!"

Napapapikit ako sa ginawa ko kanina. Nakakahiya talaga. I'm so stupid. Binuksan ko ang mga mata ko ng marinig kong bumukas ang elevator. I get my phone from my coat. I call Deo's number.

"Oh you are stupid."

"I know! I know!"

Sabi ko at tinakpan ang mukha ko. Nasa isang cafe kami nag uusap ni Deo. Napapailing nalang si Deo sa akin.

"God Lily. People really think you're an excellent business woman but in just a day you ruined it."

He look so disappointed. Mukha rin siyang nahihiya sa nagawa ko. Walanghiyang Deo pinapunta ko siya para pagaanin ang loob ko! Not to make it worse.

"You know what Lily. You really should remember that you are a business woman. Simon always said that Business is a Business. Nothing more and nothing less. Not even personal feelings.  If you even think about it, you can ruin your own company in just a day. Your insane."

Napakagat ako ng labi at tumango. Tama naman kasi siya. Umiral kasi ang pagiging makasarili ko. Naalala ko bigla ang nangyari few years ago.

"I don't want to ruin anything again Deo."

"Then you should think straight Lily before you regret it."

Thinking about how many families I will ruined about this. I can't afford anything like this. Mababaliw na talaga ako.

"They are the reason why you went to Korea right?"

Napatingin ako sa kape ko. Not really. Maybe they are just a part of it but mainly I was avoiding my responsibility.

"Come on! Lily you are better than this. I know one of them is your ex. Remember? I was with you that time. He actually choose his career over you."

Hinawakan ko ang kape ko. At tiningnan ng masama si Deo.

"You know how hot this coffee right?"

Nanlaki ang mga mata nito at tinaas ang dalawang kamay niya.

"It's not about his career Deo. It's about music. He is the man who love to make music. He wants his songs to be someone's inspiration."

"I bet that's the reason why you still love him."

Napakunot ang noo ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Still? Is he serious? Natawa ako sa sinabi niya.

"Deo I have been busy for years now. I can't even take a break because of work."

"It's because you don't want to take a break Lily."

I gave him a glare. Napaatras ito ng konti.

"All I think about is this company's reputation and business. I can't think anyone-"

"If you're talking about business. Why the hell did you barged in to someone's company while they are in the middle of discussion just to say the deal is off? That's not how business works Lily."

Napatigil ako sa sinabi niya. I mean it's not like that!

"It's just that.. It's kind a risky. You know.. There fandom is huge and a little mistake can bring a big problem-"

"Wow! For the first time you give up? You never give up to something risky. Remember when you first entered the company. You said where is the fun without a risked."

"The time will come that we have-"

"You have to give up in something like this. This is not business. It's about personal feelings."

Napatahimik ako sa sinabi niya. Napapikit ako. Naalala ko ang nangyari noon. Sa dami na ng napagdaanan ko. Yoongi is just a little part of it.

"Listen. If you really want to take this business seriously. Play it cool. Just like how Miss Liliane the CEO of magazine company. Not Lily but Miss Lily."

Ngumiti ito sa akin. Ngumiti rin ako at tumango. I should really think straight and take this business seriously.
