Regularly scheduled update tomarrow.

Because we're all trash together.]

Lapis POV.

I groaned and rolled over, blocking the sun from my eyes. I hugged my pillow tighter and attempted to open them back up.

I hated mornings.

I maneged to close the blinds, then looked over at my clock. It was already almost 11? God... I gripped my head. I didn't have that much to drink... did I?

But the memeries of the party were not blurry. I remembered every second. And I found myself smiling.

Peri confessed to me. She hadn't asked me out, but it was a good feeling to know she at least liked me. I leaned over my bed, looking for the pallet i had made for her on the floor.

But nothing was there. I looked around, and near my closet were the three blankets I had used, folded neatly and on top of eachother.

Huh. She must be the neat type. I stretched, sitting up and yawned. I rubbed my eyes and stood, making my way to my door. But I noticed something else.

There was a note, taped to my door. I grabbed it and raised a brow.

Lapis,

Sorry if I'm not here when you wake up, I have work today and didn't want to disturb you. I folded the blankets you gave me.

I also want to apologise, I acted stupid when I was drunk last night. Fighting my brother was a idiotic thing to do. But to be fair, you looked extremely uncomfortable, and I felt I had to do something.

And... I want to thank you. You've been understanding. I know I still might be confused about exactly what my feelings are, or why on earth I blabbed them all... but you didn't judge.

If you want, I'll be at the Agency building till 3, come drop by.

Peridot.

There was a small smiley face at the bottom, and I giggled.

I was smiling. I felt so happy, I was shaking a bit.

But the best part was, even though she couldnt explain her feelings, she admitted to it. So she was the honest type. I noted everything I could.

Even what I learned at the party.

Her brother and her have a sibling dispute because he... stole something? And peridot went to the lengths of beating him up for me.

That, and she looked REALLY good in a suit.

There was an arrow on the side, and I flipped the note over.

(P.s.: I borrowed some socks.)

I giggled at this and set the note on my dresser. That adorable, hot nerd. I yawned again and made my way down stairs.

I would make breakfast, and go to the Agency building. I couldn't wait to see her again.

----------------------------------------------------

I stepped through the doors, slightly gawking at the building again. I had been used to it, but I hadn't seen it in awhile since me and peridots... fight.

I made my way over to the elevator and clicked the button. There was some agent behind me, looking through what I assumed to be a case, but he closed it and smiled at me.

I gave nothing more than a small wave in return, not really interested in talk to anyone. He didn't really seem too keen on it either, going back to look at his file.

We got off on the same floor, but he walked in the opposite direction. I made my way down the hall to Peri's office, knocking slightly and poking my head in.

Her office was empty, but I could see she had been there recently, because fresh copys of files sat on her desk, strewn about. I sat down in my usual spot in the corner, deciding that she'd be back soon.

I was about to get out my phone when a familier figure stepped through the door, eating a cup of noodles. She poked her fork in, shutting the door with her foot and taking a bite. She hadn't noticed me, and I smiled.

She sipped up a noodle and turned, jumping slightly when she saw me. I giggled. "Boo." She let out a sigh, smiling and shaking her head. "Not funny, lapis."

I sat up, laying my chin in my hand while looking at her. "It wasn't actually my intent to scare you, I was just waiting." She gave a worried face. "How long have you been waiting? Not too long I hope..." I shrugged. "About... 8-10 minutes maybe? Not long."

She nodded, turning and heading around her desk to sit down. "Sorry about leaving, you looked peaceful, so I didn't want to wake you..." She blushed a little, trying to hide it by resting it on her hand on the desk and looking down at the files.

"Don't apologise, you folded my blankets before you left and already said sorry in your note." I smirked a little. "I hope you plan on returning my socks." She huffed, leaning back and crossing her arms. "Of course, they don't fit me exactly right anyways."

I chuckled, standing up. "So... we're... good now, right?" She looked up. "Yeah, i... I think so... umm.." She rubbed the back of her neck. "I was wondering if you wanted to come over tonight, to watch a movie..."

She looked so nervous about it, so I decided to flirt a little. I kept my voice queit, so there was no chance of anyone else hearing. "Is it a date~?" She crossed her arms, blushing a bit and scrunching up her face. She looked adorable when mad.

"D-do you want to or not, lapis." I giggled. "Of course. When do you want me over?" She shrugged. "Uhh... 6? 7? Around then would be fine."

I smiled again, relaxing.

"Then it's a date."
