Movie Move

Lapis POV.

I dug through a bunch of movies, mostly classics or sci fi.

How much nerd could Peri really be? Jesus.... I finally maneged to find something I wanted to watch, and I turned back, letting a wide grin spread on my face.

Peri had to twist her head a little, and she chuckled. "Really? THAT one?" I nodded and made my way over to her movie player. I managed to get the disc in and turn on the tv, then grabbed what I assumed was the remote, and moved back to stand by the couch.

"Hit the light blue butten..." Peri said, just before yawning. I looked over at her.

"You tired?" She gave me a smirk.

"I had the literall snot kicked out of me, duh I'm tired." She chuckled a little, and then sighed.

I clicked the blue butten and turned, walking down towards her room. "What are you doing!?" She sounded frightened.

"Chill, Peri, I'm just grabbing us a blanket." I did, not bothering to look around her room. I then threw it over Peri, and resumed my position, laying Peri's legs on my lap. I also managed to get a good bit of the blanket, without having to disturb her.

The movie played, but soon Peri sat up. I looked over, slightly concerned. "You okay?" She nodded, scooting a little closer. "Just... cold."

I scoffed and scooted as well, bumping into her and wrapping a arm around her shoulder. "You could've just said so."

Oh my god

I just did that.

I hadn't meant to do that. Now my arm was wrapped around her and I felt my face turn red and there was just and awkward silence.

God dahm my flirty ways....

But peridot leaned onto my shoulder. I was surprised, and looked down. A small smile was spread across her face, and her eyes were closed.

"Thanks lapis..."

I smiled. "For what?"

"For staying."
