Okay. So I woke up. From a dream.

That moment where I feel an ache in my stomach and a sudden rush in my brain that I had to get this thought on paper.

I saw everyone without ears. As in everyone. Mom, dad, Mrs. Kelly.

I was in school and I noticed students were talking with no ears as I pass by the corridor. Then, Riley picked me up after school. I hugged her and I noticed that she has no ears. I ran home and I saw my mom and dad yelling at each other with no ears. And I saw myself in the mirror that I have mine. I was complete. I- I don't know what to do so I screamed.

And I just woke up from that dream.

I told my dad in breakfast about what my dream was. "Maybe it has something to do with what you watch." he pointed the tv.

"No, I'm sure that it has nothing to do with it, daddy."

I tried not to remember my dream while I prepare for school. I was literally shaking. My dream looks so clear and vivid and I thought that it is real.

Dad came to my room and held my arm while I look at myself in the mirror. "It's okay, Jan. Don't worry about it too much. We sometimes dream about strange things. I did too."

"Really, dad?" I faced him.

Dad bent down and and told me, "Yes, and I prayed."

I was saddened. "Mom, dad, I can't go to school! I just can't!" I hugged my pillow and stuck myself in the bed like a spoiled brat.

"But Janice.." my dad prepared for work, looked at me.

"Joseph, let me talk to her. You need to go now. You don't wanna be late." As my mom went out to accompany dad downstairs, I heard God.

God: It seems your dream has been bothering you.

Me: Wait, God? You know my dream?

God: Yes.

Me: I was scared when I saw everyone without ears. Good thing I screamed and woke up.

God: Do not be afraid.

Me: Do you know what it means? My dream?

God: Yes.

Me: Will that happen in the future?

My mom opened my door suddenly to bring me a hot chocolate. She signaled me to take off my headphones. Then, the voice was gone.

Mom took the Bible and we read it together. She came across a verse that says "For them who has ears let him hear."

I grabbed my mom's arm. Mom stared at me for five seconds and knew what I was going to say. "Jan, maybe you need to get some rest okay? I will go now."

"But mom?!"I stopped her. I needed to tell herwhat was going on. I needed someone to hear what I saw in my dream. I know momwould be perfect.
