"Janice! Come here!" I heard mom call me while I was brushing my teeth. "Wait, I'm coming!"

As I come at her room, she hugged me while in tears. "Let's thank God that He heard our prayers. Tomorrow, we were allowed to visit your dad! His lawyer granted my request."

Really? Yes! Oh my gosh!

Dad's lawyer has decided to allow us to see dad. This day would now come. I'm so ready to see him. But I am still worried about his condition. When I asked mom about him, what she would say to me is "He will get through this!" Mom assured me that he is in a safe condition as of now. Can she explain to me what happened? I know it would make her uncomfortable but I really need to know.

"Mom?" I gathered all my courage to ask again.

Suddenly, the door opened and it was Riley, Aunt Helena, and Tim. They were dressed in white shirts with the Welcome Back red font print in it. It looks oh gosh. Do they have to do this? Thanks for the effort, I appreciated it!

Riley gave me the longest hug she gave me in years. I think that was five minutes long. Tim gets too excited as well and jumped into me and three of us falling to the couch. "I missed you, Janny!" Riley exclaimed. "Is that my new nickname now?" I asked with laughter. "If you like." she giggled. "So, it rhymes with Riley!"

I missed Riley. That humor has been unheard for so long. I noticed her hands still communicating with me. I clenched her fists. "No need!"

She smiled. "Yeah, I've heard! Sorry I was just—

I did not answer.

"Janice?"

I did not reply again.

"Are you sure you could hear?"

I smiled and poked her nose. "Of course, Riley!" I laughed and ran to the kitchen to hide behind Aunt Helena because I know she would chase me for that.

Tim followed and was giggling all over the place.

"I like it when it's like this!" Aunt Helena said to mom.

"Yeah, I kinda miss this." Mom agreed as she looks at us.

The noise alright. I am sorry for being too loud gain with my cousins. But to be honest, I wish I was just a kid forever. Living forever at Tim's age would be cool. Looking at him right now, he looks crazy with Riley. Best brother and sister. Cute siblings.

As I drink a glass of water, I overheard the conversation of mom and Aunt Helen.

"I'm sorry if my kids are always making a mess here at your house." Aunt Helen said before raising her voice to make them behave. "No, it's okay. Let them. That's the one thing I missed in this house... Hapiness..." mom said in a dramatic voice. Wow! I could now differentiate a mom's dramatic voice from mom's irritated voice from mom's sweet voice from mom's better run or I'll make you pay voice. Thanks to this hearing aid! I remembered Mr. Kelly. I'm still thankful despite everything. I'm surprised he didn't make me pay for this one!

"Let's eat to a place we all wanted to go! I got you tomorrow!" Mom invited.

"Buffet!!!" Riley and I screamed in delight.

I knew it haha! I can hear my mom regretting in her mind, "What did I just commit to?"

Just joking! She loves us and I love her too especially when she treats lunch! Even if I get excited because of mom's treat, tomorrow is the day that I have been praying for and looking forward the most which I think deserves all the thanksgiving. Finally, we get to see my daddy!

"I have waited and now it's tomorrow!" I thought as I thank God in the deepest sincerity of my soul. Still, the question "What happened really?!" is roaming around my mind. At least I know that tomorrow, that question would be answered. Either dad or mom or the lawyer. It will be answered.
