Back into my usual favorite spot, I have not seen him lately. I miss his cute movements when he kicks. I imagine him to be the next famous athlete in FIFA. What happened to him?
As I drove with my mom in the car, I kept on thinking about him. Oh no! Am I falling to this trap? Well I'm also human. I fall for someone too. I just hope no one would not see this notebook.
I first saw him in the first day of classes. Yeah, I know. Love at first sight. He wore a blue jersey at that time walking towards me from the corridor. I just wish. He is walking to get some refreshment, cold water. From his sweat dripping from his gorgeous face, he looks like he was just from a game. I wanted to ask him but I do not think I have the guts to. It's okay. Staring at him from afar already makes me happy.
It just so happen that my daydreaming session was broken by a ball thrown at my knees. Omg! Is it he? Good thing I saw my mom waving at me. I ran to the car and breathed deep.
I never expected that to happen. Mom handed me her laptop. Oh! It's Jay! Another unexpected call from Skype.
Jay was like a brother to me. I was happy that we met his good family in Hawaii. They were the most amazing locals that welcomed us warmly there.
Hello, Janice! How are you?
-Okay. Uhm, you?
Always fun, I mean fun.
-Same you, Jay.
Of course. I'm still that guy who taught you how to surf.
Oh yeah. He did teach me but I was not able to balance the board so I slipped. I remember the people's eyes staring at me at that time but anyway, I thanked him for having patience with me. He is such a great guy.
"So, maybe talk to you next time?" I said.
"Sure. Wait for me. I'll come to USA! Regards to Mr. Melbourne, Janice! Haven't seen him yet." He said saluting.
Lord, it's a good feeling your friends checkup on you once in a while. It's like a stress reliever when you're having a bad day. I kind of like it unexpected. Like a surprise!
