When we opened the television for the morning newsbreak, dad was sipping at his coffee. "A strong, warm coffee for a strong, warm morning." He mumbled. I was slicing my piece of peach pie which made baked when I heard the news report on Mr. Kelly.

I gazed at dad, seeing his reaction made me smile. He smirked. I mean, it is a simple thing but at least he is not angry now. Seeing Mr. Kelly back then, he would really throw a fist fight.
"He is kind." Dad whispered. And I heard it. So I said, "Yeah..."
Dad was shocked, looking at me, he sipped on his cup. "I was his friend before. I know how he loves his job."
"Joseph, I don't know but do you think it is time?" Mom sat on the couch, close to dad, and putting her hand on his lap.
Time for what? I asked mom what about it but she refused to say it. Sometimes, they have their own language. Anyways, Mr. Kelly now has a new dog. A new companion. A new friend.
This morning just made me realize how a kind heart will be rewarded by God. It touches God's heart when we do kind things for other people.
"I was so grateful, yes grateful. Mr. Alkovich gave me his husky, JJ. And having another friend by my side means a lot." Mr. Kelly answered the question of a reporter.
"So, last question, what is your message to the some who mistreats animals?" The reporter asked.
"Being a vet, it is my job. But I think being human is much greater. We are entrusted to take care of this animals and I hope we would not let Him down." He answered smiling. At that moment, a message from the Lord came across the world.
