Mrs. Kelly invited us to decorate the rooms with hearts and balloons for tomorrow's Valentines Day. She told us that our principal would come classroom to classroom. Our principal, Mrs. Levvi just came home from the hospital and tomorrow she would be coming back to see how the students are. She was a scary but at the same time thoughtful principal. I remember my first meet up with her at the interview. I felt her charisma at the first step in her office. I can feel the power. My interpreter which is my mom was a bit overwhelmed too, she told me. But my mom said that she may have a powerful voice and a powerful charisma, she is a kind hearted woman. She understood my needs and I thank her for that.
Mrs. Kelly and all the other teacher were excited as well as the students. We prepared a short presentation of singing, dancing, and speaking. I joined in the mini chorale, Kyla joined in the spoken word and some of my classmates prepared a three minute interpretative dance.
Mrs. Kelly has her own too. A personal letter enclosed in a brown envelope crafted with hearts.
I am now excited how this would turn out. Mrs. Levvi would love this, I'm sure!
