My Sunday Fam Day was lit! #churchday #familylove #bondingtime
Janice Melbourne posted 30 new photos.
After an hour, notifs popped up. Kyla loved my post. A few minutes later, she messaged me.
Kyla: Hey, Janice! It's been a while.
Me: Yeah, hey Kyla!
Kyla: It's good to see you are enjoying your time with your family!
Me: Yes, I am. I'm glad too. How's school?
Kyla: I just won another contest.
Seeing her message made me wish I was there too. As a competitor too or at least supporting her.
Me: Really? Wow! You really are the best!
Kyla: Me? You know, we!
Me: I hope I was there to support you.
Kyla: It's okay. I understand.
Me: Sorry for not chatting with you all this time. But I miss you.
Kyla: I miss you too! I want you to see my new dog.
Me: How cute! What is its name?
Kyla: Adie. She is a chow chow.
She sent me a picture of her and her chow chow. They were playing fetch. Kyla was holding the toy bone and Adie was circling around Kyla's raised arm.
Me: So adorable! I wish I had one.
Kyla: Ask aunt Sania for a gift.
Me: A gift? It should be a surprise, Ky.
Kyla: On your birthday? You can!
Me: My only wish is to have them with me.
Kyla: You are such a loving daughter! I wish I was you.
I smiled. Mom was calling me so I had to cut this conversation short.
Me: Well, best of luck and congratulations Kyky.
Kyla: Wow. I never heard of that name since you left.
Me: Of course, I would still call my friend Kyky. Hahaha!
Kyla: Thank you so much Jan! And God bless to your fam!
Me: God bless yours too!
Kyla sent an emoji of hearts and I sent a gif. It's been a while since we talked and I kinda miss being with her in the library. I was so inspired by her diligence and I was lucky she was my friend. I am so happy that she messaged me because I realized to check on my friends once in a while.
Thank you Lord for bringing her as a friend in my life!
