Chapter 19 ~ Erik route 5 ~ Secrets revealed

''Lunos. Niiv. Saero.'' Diana spoke three words and all but her shielded our eyes from the light. When gone there were three new persons making me conclude it were demons, summoned with the mention of their true name.

''Mi-lady!'' one of the men Diana summoned rushed towards her side. ''I was so worried. You look awful. Are you hurt?'' he asked. When reaching him he embraced the succubus who then kissed him. She looked a bit better after that probably because of him giving her energy. ''Everything will be explained Saero but we are now in the heart of enemy territory. Let's head to Lilith castle first. All of us.''

''All of us? That will be tricky.'' A demon spoke and I looked at him more closely. His skin was pale and black hair moved unnaturally. The garb he wore was mainly dark grey with leather pauldrons and braces. Around his waist a red scarf was tied. There was no doubt, this was a shadow demon.

''What about him.'' the voice came from the other demon. It had tanned skin and wings. It was from the fairy folk. What a strange combination of allies, but I did not complain.

''Leave him. Even as a prisoner he will not be worth anything.'' Diana replied. ''At the least assuming you Baptised him?'' Her gaze went to Waltz. ''I did. He will remember nothing about us or how to cast magic. In his mind he is like a newborn child. He will probably die soon, I overdid it a little.'' Waltz replied without a single hint of remorse

''I shall prepare a shadow travel for us. In the Shadowplane we should be safe. The worst that can come at us are Imps'' Lunos said. He raised his hand over the stone floor making use of the shadows casted by the limited light the torches provided.

''Saero. Waltz. I trust that the both of you take care of any Imps or other creatures loyal to the Demonlord would they come our way. The longer the Demonlord is unaware of our absence, the better.'' Diana said. Both nodded without complains which surprised me of Waltz. ''I might have an idea to buy us more time. Sam help me drag him out of the way.'' Damien said as he stepped to the mage. Both of him dragged the man into a corner and Damien focussed. In the cells, shadow clones appeared looking identical to the five incubi brothers and Diana. All of the clones were laying down or sitting. ''Good thinking Damien. How long will they last?'' James asked. ''A few hours tops.'' Damien replied.

''We will have to make do. Let's get going.'' Diana said. Lunos signalled he was ready and before I could take a step myself Erik lifted me up. ''Allow me to carry you Angel. You deserve some rest.'' I protested at first but that only proved to be painful. ''You will be covered with blood though...'' I muttered. Erik just gently shushed me.

With the help of the Fairy using air magic, we flew through the shadow world resulting in us reaching the grounds of Lilith Castle quickly. Despite Erik told me to rest I did not close my eyes for long periods of time. The thought of sleeping scared me after everything that had occured. Where would I wake up? In another dream? Was this reality? What if I had failed in waking up from the layers of magic I had been under.

Lunos and Niiv were both showing signs of exhaustion. It must have been a challenge to bring all of us here. I looked at the castle and nostalgia hit me. ''Erik could you put me down?'' I asked. He was hesitant but gave in gently placing me on the ground. The grass beneath my feet was welcoming and the chilly wind soothed my aching body. I took a few steps forward taking in the sight. ''It still looks good and strong huh.'' Waltz said as he went standing next to me. ''Do you think our rooms are still intact?'' he asked to which I chuckled. ''I doubt it. We have not been here for a very long time.'' I replied to him but my words did not reach him. Instead he dashed forward like an enthusiastic child making me sigh. ''I think I will have to officially prepare he might never grow up.'' I sighed but I was smiling regardless. It was simply who Waltz was.
