The relaxation day was good and after all those days if intense training something all of us needed. After dinner we were all summoned to the war room in the evening.
The final plans were explained, and every rebel leader including Azaeur's father was there. It was decided that in this battle Azaeur together with the brothers would fly ahead and take on the Demon Lord. Waltz on his turn would focus on taking out Devils with Saero, since Holy magic was very effective against them. I would be accompanying a group of mages and warlocks including Mika taking out imps or any devils that were necessary and provide healing to the injured.
After the meeting was dismissed, Azaeur's father pulled me aside. ''You were the one responsible for saving my wife, unborn daughter and me. I knew it the moment I laid eyes on you.'' he said and smiled. ''You look better. Healthier. I wanted to thank you but after the battle you were gone.'' It took me a moment to realise that he was curious to know why. ''Nobody was supposed to see me. I did cast Invisibli so I take it you are an expert when it comes to illusion magic?'' I replied to which he shrugged with a smile. I took that as a yes. ''Regardless what your reasons were to enter the castle and kill all those imps, I wanted to thank you properly. Not just me though.'' he gestured towards a mirror and waved his hand as he whispered a spell. The surface of the mirror rippled and the reflection of Azaeurs father and me vanished making place for a regal looking woman and a child in her arms. The child seemed about three or four years old. ''Meet my wife and second child. I can only hold the connection up for a few minutes though seeing as they are currently in the human world for safety. I sent them there before I came here with my troops.''
The child pointed at me with a wide smile on her face. ''Mommy that's her! The woman who saved us. Her energy is the same.'' the woman looked at her child affectionately before smiling at me. ''Aren't you the bright young girl.'' I replied with a smile. ''What is your name.'' I asked. ''My name is Oribel. I am Azaeur's little sister.'' the girl replied. It was clear that she was proud of Azaeur. ''Oribel. What a pretty name.'' I smiled at the girl. Despite her age I could tell she had a lot of potential. ''Because of you she, me and my husband are all alive. Thank you for that. I understood from Azaeur that once, a long time ago you used to live at Lilith Castle. You are family then right? If you ever need a home in the Demon World, just know that we shall always welcome you with open arms.'' the woman said warmly. ''Thank you for your offer. It is true that it was my home but that was a long time ago. I left the castle in charge of your ancestors and it has been taken care of very well. Could not have done so better myself.'' my words made all three of them smile. ''When the war is over would you like to play with me? And tell me stories? You surely must have a lot.'' Oribel said and I nodded. ''Of course. When the war is over. Now though, I should leave the three of you alone. Surely you wish to have a bit of private time before the fight.'' I said and bowed before I turned to leave. ''Big sister...'' Oribel said and her words made me look back. ''Do your best. And don't die by the Demonlord's hands. You can not let him...'' I grinned at Oribel's words. ''I will do my best. I owe you some stories after all'' I replied to her and left. Outside the room however I sighed. I was not sure why but I had a very bad feeling about tomorrow.
''Hey you ok there?...'' I looked up hearing the words spoken Waltz. ''Ezeq... Waltz... hey. Yea I just have a bad feeling.'' I replied and he gestured for me to walk with him. ''Well, not many ever felt good in a war before. You're nervous that is natural.'' he replied not commenting on my slip up. ''[_2_] what are your plans for after the war.'' he asked and I looked at him questioning. ''I want to live with Erik and the others. I have been alone enough. What about you.'' I asked and he smiled. ''Well, I am not entirely sure yet. I will not be able to remain your mentor at school probably. You have your memories back so you can manage without me again. Not to mention you have the brothers. It is nice to see that they care about you and that they can protect you if needed.''
